not trending in any direction. he also has 8 B1G teams in.
Lundardi currently has Michigan a 4 seed
Love the way Lunardi has UofM set up in this hypothetical bracket. Wish it was real. Playing LBSU and then St. Mary's is a "relatively" easy path to the Sweet16. Yes, I'm aware that St. Mary's has a good squad.
In the blog section, he says st. Mary's is one of the best in defending the 3.
...not a good match-up...
We haven't really been hitting the open 3s anyway, maybe it would force us inside more.
I really hope we can stay in that 3-6 Seed range so we can some decent matchups the first weekend at the tourney.
...but not 5
Yesterday was a somewhat ugly bump in the road, but they'll have much brighter days. This is a young team.
I didn't think we could go into Ohio and beat a team rated #4 in the country especially with all the talent they have. Big, fast and athletic. Wow! Can't wait till we get there. Maybe we beat them in our house but that is the only way.
This is a young team, that will get deeper and more talented starting next year.
Finally a bracket that isn't paywalled. And if only our bracket was that nice
My bracket has Michigan as a 1 seed with the 8 and 9 seeds being Towson and Prairie View. Additionally, Michigan State misses the tournament by their disappointing loss in the Big Ten Championship game.
The B1G is so strong, only a few teams can really hurt us with a loss.
..How the crap did we lose that game again?
Iowa won at Wisconsin, so there's that...
The same way MSU lost to northwestern, Ohio State lost to Illinois, Wisconsin lost to Iowa, Indiana lost to Nebraska, Purdue and Illinois lost to Penn State, etc...
the pac 12 only has 2 team projected to make it in and thats a 9 seed cal and a 12 seed washington, yikes
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the Pac 12 like that last year too?
The PAC 12 was semi decent last year, but somehow managed to send a bunch of guys to the NBA. A lot of young talent out west tho. Watch out in 3-4 years.
PAC12 baksetball or BigEast football?
I'm expecting more like a 6 seed considering our remaining schedule. If we can get our shooters hot in March and figure out how to get THJ to be consistently aggressive we might be able to make a run.
Not bad. I want to avoid anything over a 6 and a 4 or 5 seed would be great because a run to the sweet 16 would look much more realistic. I like where this team is this year and next year i believe can be special with the recruiting class we have coming in.
Can't handle the 12 vs 5 upsets every year.
6 seeds get frequently upset as well. It's the tournament. Nothing's a sure thing.
We have a very young team to.GO BLUE!!!
With UNC being my second team, I would love a Sweet 16 matchup with MSU.
Long Beach State wouldn't be a bad matchup to have in the opening round, but in this bracket, 6 gets Southern Miss (19-3), which I think would be harder but doable, although I would much prefer 4 in this scenario. For some reason, both Colorado State and Cincinnati at 12 (if we were 5 here) would make me cringe a little bit. Besides, you'd have to play the winner of Middle Tennessee / Wisconsin to get into the Sweet 16. I like the less stressful LB State - St. Mary's route, although the latter is no slouch.
If we can play .500 ball the rest of the way. I don't see why we cant be a 4 seed.
