We visited Baton Rouge during our trip to the Sugar Bowl.
It is an absolute shit hole. For a kid from the "North", I wouldn't be worried at all about LSU. If anything, he will realize just how shitty / hot it is down there and re-think taking any more visits.
Maybe he isn't really interested in football and just wants to be on the show Swamp People and hunt for gators.
I understand he's an avid duck hunter and is taking an official visit to the good people of Duck Dynasty. He knows the value of having quality decoys and a well-made duck call.
Mr. Rager, you only tell part of the truth, sir. The ENTIRE state of Louisiana is a shithole. Plus their police and politicians are more corrupt than the line of governors in the state of Illinois.
It would be great if Treadwell joins the class, but either way I'm confident we'll get 2 good players to fill those remaining slots

With Darboh coming in at 6'2", 218, and a Sam Webb reported 4.5 forty I'm a little less concerned about LT at this point.

I unfortunately live in Baton Rouge now and am always left wondering why LSU would be a huge draw for out of state recruits. It must be to play in the SEC and a perceived guaranteed path to the NFL (Which is never guaranteed anywere). The campus is actually pretty and the game atmosphere is insane, but check out some of these beautiful statistics BR has for incoming recruits.
1. Ranked the 16th most dangerous city in the U.S. per the FBI. See link for a local article about crime. Important because the campus is pretty much part of the city, similar to Michigan.

for LT, but we've learned that Hoke's patience is limited. I know he's not a commit yet, if he were, Hoke would tell him to cool the visits. That has been his pattern and he's been consistent with it. I think Hoke takes the next good WR prospect on our list who WANTS to play for Michigan, and rightly so.
