Loy Vaught featured on Facebook NBA fan page

Surfing through my FB feed today, a post about Loy Vaught popped up on the fan page called "Forgotten NBA Role Players." 

Apparently Vaught averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds over a 4-year stretch in the NBA. I remember Glen Rice having a really nice professional career, but I don't remember ever hearing about Loy. Maybe because he was stuck on the Clippers for so long?

Are there any other former Wolverines that had sneaky good pro careers other than the obvious stars like Webber, Rose, Howard and Jamal Crawford?

Loy Vaught was my favorite Wolverine back in those days.  His teammate Terry Mills had a pretty decent run with the Pistons in the early-to-mid 90s averaging about 16 points and eight rebounds over a three year period.  Then in '96-97 his bio says he led the Pistons in three pointers made (175, 10th in the league) and matched an NBA record by making 13 consecutive three pointers (over a three game span).

I'm sure nobody remembers Loy spittin rhymes before the Maui classic that they won in 88 on one on the telecasts. He led the big ten in field goal percentage and was pretty much automatic with a sweet 12-15 foot jumper.

He had knee problems that cut short a very solid NBA career on a miserable clipper team.

i think darius morris is going to end up having a sneaky good career. it might not show up on the statsheet but he is a lockdown defender.
