They should, the man is overdue for a head coach job and Louisville is a solid one, better than the Uconn job he turned down.  I see this one going to Petrino though.  WKU has apparently already interviewed his OC as a replacement.

Which makes one wonder WHY Louisville would want a guy who's already left once.

Hopefully Narduzzi is interviewed and impresses UL officials - where they see another Charlie Strong. Anything to get Pat out of our hair.

Washington and Colorado are taking big steps to legalize Louisville job, why not us too? It's clear that we're losing the War on Louisville Job and it's costing us billions every year fighting it.

Maybe I'm being naive regarding the win at all costs mentality but it still blows me away that any school would consider hiring Petrino after the crap he's pulled. I guess it's one thing for a WKU to hire him knowing full well they would never get a shot at a name like Petrino absent all the recent baggage. just surprised Louisville would stoop to that considering they have been a pretty damn good program and with their returning talent could probably attract a Narduzzi or other pretty decent name to come in.

Petrino wants the job. He interviewed for the job today. Sources say the coordinator at WKU was asked to be the new head coach of WKU. So the chances that Narduzzi goes there about about slim to none. I'd bet heavily on the Narduzzi isn't going there side.

douchebag.  They should move beyond Petrino.  With so many good candidates out there, UoL should not be that desperate to hire a coach who had put his mistress on the payroll.

with someone living in Louisville on Monday. According to him, everyone down there wants Petrino... he was pushing for Tressel!  His logic was you take the pressure off by knowing up front your first five games are losses (show cause) and that Tressel could immediately shore up recruiting and "bring respectibility."

Did I forget to mention the guy is an OSU grad?  LOL....

I hope he leaves, but it shouldn't take a coordinator/coach leaving another school for Michigan to beat someone.  If Michigan is to get back to an elite level, we won't worry about things like this so much. (not directed at the OP - but any Michigan fan that seems to wishing ever so dearly he leaves).

I don't really care if Narduzzi stays at MSU or leaves, but how the hell does the AD at Louisville go from a guy with a squeaky clean image (true or not) to Petrino?

So Petrino will get this job and in 3 years or less after Bielema gets fired he will be back at Arkansas
