LOL Crean: Indiana NOT selected by the NIT
Looks like the crowd was chanting the wrong thing.
"C-B-I! C-B-I!"

When Crean wins, he does so by having super-talented players. His guys aren't going to get more talented with a few CBI practices/games.

Crean will get at least one more year.

is classic and worthy of reposting.
did he soil his shorts or something?
Wow:
Indiana Director of Athletics Fred Glass confirmed that decision to The Star on Sunday night.
"Finances wouldn't be an issue if we thought it made sense," Glass told The Star. "But we're Indiana. We don't play in the CBI."
This is the first time since 2011 that an IU season ends with the Big Ten tournament. Four of coach Tom Crean's six seasons in Bloomington have ended without postseason play beyond the conference tournament.

Indiana was a tire fire when he arrived. He went 1-17 his first season, so it took a while to dig out of that hole. His overall B1G record is 40-68 (.370). Take out his best season and his percentage dips to .267. Analogous percentages for Beilein are .556 and .501. Basically Crean has had one good season out of six.

I like that. I don't like Indiana, but I like that statement. Have some standards you won't stoop below.
Sometimes pulling the plug on a season is the right thing to do.

There is much to do on the beet farm this offseason.
