If it indeed is a commitment I think he's realizing as he's visiting other schools that there's nowhere else he wants to be.  At that point why wait?  Ja'ron Dukes has to be close...

But for some reason I don't think it will happen tonight based on his interview with Sam last week.  We'll see though.  He seemed set on seeing other schools, but he has at least seen Bama and Wisco now so maybe hes seen enough.

I hate to say it but ive been in a tit for tat with buckeyeboards on twitter.  I started by saying scUM was hilarious with Ubrans initals.  This lead to a long conversation about character and how i want character more then wins and they have always been the opposite (see every coach thats been fired over the last 5 decacdes).

Needless to say Jake Butt commiting tonight was a great endstone to a meaningless conversation with someone amped up on Busch heavy and kodiak.

More to the point, Hoke is recruting with his character, (see tremendousum article) and I am more then excited the team and tradition I love are back with a vengence.  We answered critics hard lately and i LOVE it!!

I'm guessing he's either excited from the sudden flurry of committments or he got nervous that there might not be a spot for him. Because if another G/T committed, he would probably be SOL.

Per AnnArbor.com:

According to Rivals recruiting data at TheWolverine.com, Michigan hasn't started this fast in their recorded history, and it's not even close. Here are the dates for commit No. 9 for as far back as they're available: May 12 for the 2012 class; Dec. 13 for 2011; April 30 for 2010; Aug. 29 for 2009; July 1 for 2008; Aug. 3 for 2007; Nov. 23 for 2006; Sept. 26 for 2005; June 21 for 2004; and Dec. 11 for 2003.

We were all pretty damn impressed with last years class, but this one is on pace to blow that one out of the water!  Dantonio has gotta be shaking in his boots after the last 36 hours.

DEAL WITH IT, MARK!

Is that this is one of two things (Per Bama people)

1. Committing to Michigan

2. Committing to Michigan

Nothing else really makes sense at this point. He "loved" his Wisconsin visit, but Michigan forced his hand.

Talking bad about Saban will get your post deleted.  Didn't know we loved him that much.  In any event, Tillman being added this weekend will give me happy Upton dreams for a week
