Love your objective contributions to the board so far, keep it up.

However, somewhat ironic calling Meyer the patron saint of student aid considering what Saban has done in recruiting.  It's like the crow calling the raven black.  There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Saban is a premier coach, but what are your thoughts on the number of medical hardships in the Alabama program?

but the guy's avatar is not Saban and he has no control over what Saban does. It's like a neighbor coming over and helping you fix your roof unexpectedly; you don't say "Thanks and, by the way, I hear your wife cheats at Bingo." If it were me, I wouldn't badmouth my own school or coach on another team's forum - even anonymously. So let's just appreciate the insight from a good-natured fan and leave our discontent with Saban's tactics aside.

Hopefully MGoBlog will get more informed posters from the SEC as I bet there will be a lot of interest in cheering against Ohio now that Meyer is there.

I cannot wait to see this kid on the field. I hope he adds ten lbs to his frame and keeps the quickness. Biggest pickup next to pee wee and kalis I thought. Adds a huge dimension to this offense that hasnt been seen here before. Thought it was great that he and Shane were tearing up 7 on 7s. Did not understand why no offers and why wait til now. Did we get his film late because he has a 3.4gpa No offense but so glad Urban did not go after this guy. He would've killed us. Nice trade Stacey for Norfleet. His film reminds me alot of what West Virginia did to Clemson.

I think it all worked out for the best for both parties. I know we didn't offer him til late, but one of the things that I've noticed is that Michigan has gotten in on a lot of guys which has caused other schools to offer the kid. Norfleet could end up being on of the hidden gems of this class, but it might have been harder to get him if we had offered sooner. I think Norfleet is getting a chance to go to a great school and we're getting a very explosive player.

I also think part of it was that Freddy J wasn't a huge fan of Dennis. I personally believe you should try and get talent and then figure out how to use that talent as efficiently as possible. I think Norfleet brings a lot of tools to our tool chest.

Jackson post on the main page today and saw Hoke's comments at the presser, I am not so sure that they are that high on Norfleet except as a return and ST guy - maybe slot and 3rd down back someday.

They WERE aware of him and his strong desire to come to Michigan for quite some time, so when they missed out on so many Plan A guys over the last week they decided to give him his dream shot.  I hope he is able to vastly exceed their expectations.

Of course it could be a motivational tactic but that doesn't seem the style of this staff - particularly coach jackson

...named Jamie Morris ended up being fairly good.

From Wikipedia:

When Morris first arrived at Michigan, Coach Schembechler told Morris (who stood five feet, seven inches) he was too short to play at running back. Schembechler recalled: "I told Jamie when we recruited him he was too small to be a running back and we wanted him for running back kicks. I did, however, promise him the chance to try to be a running back for us. Good thing I did, isn't it?"

Hasnt he been here like 6 times. Love the post about tricky nicky...thanks by the way TN for boosting the local area kids recruiting rankings. It will be fun with a couple guys like Hayes and Norfleet to compliment Fitz and Drob next year. We still need a big back with wheels. isaac is a must get there Hoke. Size and speed Tyrone 2.0

seems very pleased with the way things have gone with Michigan. Even though he will probably wait to commit anywhere, it's safe to assume he'll be coming back to Ann Arbor more than Diamond did.
