Bars is the next man up, but if there is an injury to a tackle I'd expect some shuffling along the line.  Glasgow and/or Braden could be potential tackle moves and Dawson, Kugler or Bars could all move into a spot on the interior.

LTT had huge upside, big loss for the program.

Kugler's still hurting, so he won't be game ready for a while. If there's a need at tackle to replace a starter it'll probably be Braden going outside with Dawson going in at guard. If Kugler's healthy, then yes, probably Glasgow going outside. But the big impact game wise, is we'll probably scrap the 6 OL formations and just extra TE's, maybe more Poggi.

We're going to have a reset every 4 years until we fix the Rich Rod/Hoke issues in numbers.

Losing LTT doesn't all of a sudden create this problem.

You were looking at our current freshman and this '16 class being your starters in '17 anyway. It sucks, but it's not THAT big of a deal losing LTT.

Theoretically, you could be talking about losing a lifetime backup LT. Maybe we're talking about losing a Chris Bryant...

I feel like you and others are acting like in two year we're going to be starting a bunch of walk-ons and only have 3-4 scholarship OL.

It's far worse on the DL and LB (next year).

Cole - Braden - Glasgow - Kalis - Magnuson

'16

Cole - Braden - Kugler - Kalis - Magnuson

'17

Cole - Dawson - Kugler - JBB/Onwenu/Bredeson - Newsome/Ulizio/Swenson/Hamilton

...you're talking about replacing three starters and Dawson shouldn't even count because by that time he's a 5th year senior. He could be your starter now, next year, or the year after. None of us would bat an eye. So really two starters and I don't even know if Braden would get the 5th year next year so Dawson may start next year and be a 2-year starter like Kugler.

Two new starters, Seven options, and none of them would be true freshman. And that's obviously going to go up when you add the true freshman in the '17 class.

If we can't find some talent out of 7-10 scholarship players, we deserve to suck.

That's pretty normal stuff. Bama does that in their sleep. Hell everyone does that in their sleep...replacing 2 guys with 7-10 potential options is pretty standard.

Wow. Well, thankfully Magnuson is the oldest tackle we have and we'll still have him for another year so it'll give some of the young guys a chance to develop before one is thrust into the starting lineup.

Grant Newsome could be the next great #77 at tackle.

Must've been pretty bad if he's not being given a second chance.

Somewhat odd. Seems like we've never heard a peep out of the guy, good or bad, and now all of a sudden, in the span of a week, he's gone. Wonder what could've happened.

But damn that vaunted 2013 haul on the OL is seemingly getting smaller by the day. Oh well, I trust in Harbaugh to make the right decision for the team.

No way.  Kicking a kid off the team for pot on a first offense is recruiting suicide.  If it were a recurring offense, we'd have heard of suspensions.  This has to be some sort of assault or greater type thing, or LTT was secretly Pablo Escobar.

Also, I am bitter you locked in my incorrectly spelled "truckfull" before I could fix it.  Please people, do not point and laugh.
