Thanks!

Also:  Oooh, they're talking about the 2008 Cap One bowl!

Capital One Bowl was great but I'll never forget the Ohio State game a few weeks prior where they couldn't generate any offense whatsoever. Such a flip from one game to the next.

I was coming out of the gym just as it started so I missed the first bit and I'm sure someone will get a transcript up soon but here is what I heard:

1) They talked about Bear Bryant and how he got to a point at the end of his career and while he wanted to retire, he was afraid of what would happen to the 50 or so people he had on his staff.  Lloyd said he never wanted to stay past a point where he disliked being there and it was one of the reasons he insisted on the two year contracts for his people so they would be OK for a little bit after he left.

2) Lloyd told a story about how once when he was the HC and Bo was still working at the University, Bo stopped by and knocked on the door and asked if he could come in.  Lloyd laughed and said he thought that was funny because his name was on the building but he told Bo "Sure you can come in".  Bo then proceeded to tell Lloyd to never doubt himself and he would surely hit a point where he might start to wonder whether he was worthy of the job but to rest assured that he was.

***They played a clip of him talking to the 2007-08 team after the win***

3) They then proceeded to talk about the 2008 Capitol One Bowl and Lloyd felt that group going in to the season had a great chance to be in the National Title hunt but the loss to App State which they never expected as a possibility and then losing to Oregon really could have destroyed the group.  He said that group was right up there with favorite teams because they didn't let that rough start send them into a tailspin.  Brandy asked him if he remembers an ESPN reporter asking what it meant to be a Michigan Man and what his response was.  Lloyd said he remembered the question but not his answer, but to him Michigan Man meant wanting the best for the University, being dedicated to the university and how its about the group, not the individual (I'm ad libbing since I can't remember exactly how he put it) Brandy said his answer was "This."

***They played a clip of Lloyd speaking at Bo's funeral***

4) They then started to talk about Bo's funeral and that was when I had to go

Hope that helps...
