Couldn't have been better timing, wait two years until in the middle of a particularly brutal loss, then say something. Eight negative newspaper articles and several radio rants later, with sniping going on from all sides...The whole thing smells of desperation and frankly at this point, I wish he would have just kept his mouth shut until after the regular season. I would guess, Martin 'asked' (ordered) him to do this either before or during the little PR luncheon (see everybody is buddies, lalala) was observed last week.
