Lloyd Brady T-Shirts?
Where does everyone stand on this? I would buy one immediately.
Thoughts on design, what it would say, etc?
Would Lloyd be entitled to royalties for using his likeness? Would it affect his eligibility as a student-front row ticket holder?
My apologies if this great idea has crossed MGoBoard already.

Shirts celebrating an 18 year old student athlete are weird enough.
But a random kid out of the student section? Not that it isn't funny... But...
October 1st, 2010 at 6:00 PM ^
I would buy a shirt for sure.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:36 PM ^
I think that would be going too far.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:37 PM ^
For my Fathead in my basement and the Halloween costume will probably garner too much explaination. But I would pay a premium price to see him in the Soul Train dance line.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:59 PM ^
But did he appear on Soul Plane?
October 1st, 2010 at 6:43 AM ^
Ugh, he's not even shouting, "Over the line!" in that seen. Fail.
October 1st, 2010 at 8:15 AM ^
Ugh, can you even be in a seen? This whole thread is one bad scene.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:37 PM ^
that doesn't go too far. i'd buy one.
October 1st, 2010 at 12:55 AM ^
I don't think it's a great idea for the MGoStore to start selling shirts making fun of members of our own fanbase. The Photoshop thread was funny but . . . that's enough.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:52 AM ^
I hear you, but are we all really making fun? I've read a lot of the posts and I'm not so sure people are making fun. I guess some people would be upset with the photoshopping but there are a lot of people (more than not?) that would think it was hilarious if they were the subject. If anything, I know I would think its funny. This is Lloyd's 15 minutes of fame! That said, I doubt I'd pay money for a shirt with his face on it.

While noone wants to be compared to Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber, that is really only making fun of his haircut, which is pretty easy to fix. He obviously is smart because he is a student at U of M.
And he is also being compared to Tom Brady, arguably the best quarterback in NFL history, not to mention stud who marries supermodels.
When you add in the fact that he gets to be kind of famous for a little while, I don't think I would mind being "made fun of" if that is what you mean.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:39 PM ^
Make him a legend.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:42 PM ^
He showed up in the front row after Stonum's return TD against Notre Dame in 2009. What I'd like to know is how did he get front row seats two years in a row?
September 30th, 2010 at 11:44 PM ^
I'm interested how you get them one year
October 1st, 2010 at 1:48 AM ^
My friend got his front row by writing into the ticket office his senior year
October 1st, 2010 at 10:07 AM ^
One of my roommates wrote a letter and included it with our application explaining how he was in row 80+ for 4 years...5th year, he got row 1.
October 1st, 2010 at 11:38 AM ^
guy. He's had those seats since freshman year. He just gets there like an hour or two before kick off and then just kinda stands his ground.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:44 PM ^
Who is Lloyd Brady?
September 30th, 2010 at 11:57 PM ^
Where have you been?
October 1st, 2010 at 12:53 AM ^
Is that Tom Brady? But why do you call him Lloyd?
October 1st, 2010 at 2:09 AM ^
Man, you really are literal.
October 1st, 2010 at 10:13 AM ^
Bastard lovechild of Tom Brady and Lloyd Christmas. You know, this guy:

lloyd brady is my homeboy
September 30th, 2010 at 11:45 PM ^
This may be getting to the point in which we should seriously consider how this kid feels about all this. A little good natured fun-poking was all well and good. And the photoshop thread, while hilarious and really entertaining, was already skirting a little too close to a line I don't want to cross. Maybe it's just the spat of recent news, but quite frankly, it might be time to take a minute and assess.
But if the kid is cool with it, the Lloyd Brady photoshop thread should be stickied to the front of the internet.

All I'm saying is if he had a shirt made in his likeness, it's probably just going to help him get laid... I don't think he would mind.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:10 AM ^
have ever been more true
October 1st, 2010 at 11:09 AM ^
tee shirt of me, there is a chance of me getting laid? This year? Well, I am going to go with my instincts on this one and say YEAH!!!! I am all in for MGoBlog!!!

September 30th, 2010 at 11:56 PM ^
Thank god. I thought someone was forcing me to read these worthless threads
October 1st, 2010 at 12:16 AM ^
but apparently people are forcing you to respond
October 1st, 2010 at 12:25 AM ^
It was me. Sorry guys.
October 1st, 2010 at 1:29 AM ^
Shouldn't you be under a bridge somewhere?
September 30th, 2010 at 11:56 PM ^
for calling the kid a tool.
There's a good-natured quality to the celebration of this kid and his mop-headed enthusiasm and Brady lookalike contest wininngness that is, so far--I think--pretty wonderfully UNcynical. I think we just like his enthusiasm.
If it made him uncomfortable, though, we should tamp it down.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:58 PM ^
I can only hope to see him on campus id like to throw a flaming bag of feces toward his general facility
October 1st, 2010 at 12:25 AM ^
