Lloyd Brady T-Shirts?

Submitted by Glen Masons Hot Wife on

Where does everyone stand on this? I would buy one immediately.

Thoughts on design, what it would say, etc?

Would Lloyd be entitled to royalties for using his likeness? Would it affect his eligibility as a student-front row ticket holder?

My apologies if this great idea has crossed MGoBoard already.

For my Fathead in my basement and the Halloween costume will probably garner too much explaination. But I would pay a premium price to see him in the Soul Train dance line.

I hear you, but are we all really making fun?  I've read a lot of the posts and I'm not so sure people are making fun.  I guess some people would be upset with the photoshopping but there are a lot of people (more than not?) that would think it was hilarious if they were the subject.  If anything, I know I would think its funny.  This is Lloyd's 15 minutes of fame!  That said, I doubt I'd pay money for a shirt with his face on it.

While noone wants to be compared to Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber, that is really only making fun of his haircut, which is pretty easy to fix. He obviously is smart because he is a student at U of M.

And he is also being compared to Tom Brady, arguably the best quarterback in NFL history, not to mention stud who marries supermodels.

When you add in the fact that he gets to be kind of famous for a little while, I don't think I would mind being "made fun of" if that is what you mean.

This may be getting to the point in which we should seriously consider how this kid feels about all this.  A little good natured fun-poking was all well and good.  And the photoshop thread, while hilarious and really entertaining, was already skirting a little too close to a line I don't want to cross.  Maybe it's just the spat of recent news, but quite frankly, it might be time to take a minute and assess.

But if the kid is cool with it, the Lloyd Brady photoshop thread should be stickied to the front of the internet.

for calling the kid a tool.

There's a good-natured quality to the celebration of this kid and his mop-headed enthusiasm and Brady lookalike contest wininngness that is, so far--I think--pretty wonderfully UNcynical. I think we just like his enthusiasm.

If it made him uncomfortable, though, we should tamp it down.
