Live Streaming in Europe

Submitted by jbibiza on

There have been some previous threads about this, but now that the games are about to begin I can confirm that ESPN3 (formerly ESPN 360) will be showing all ABC and ESPN games live.  I live in Ibiza, Spain, so this is manna from heaven for me.  The cost is 100 euros for one entire year (including basketball), and they will carry many bowl games including all five BCS games.  Big Ten Network games are also streamed in Europe but on a per game basis and last year it was a bit pricey considering the quality of the games offered - we shall see what they do this year.

Sorry for you wolverines in bella Italia as for some reason that country is excluded from ESPN3.

Living in France.  I currently have a slingbox (SD version). It works OK, I bought the slingbox and paid an extra 20 bucks for my brother to get a cable box just for me.  So I can watch most games as he is in the detroit area (and use my own DVR).  The quality is poor (I can not see the ball on the kickoff/punts), but it's acceptable on normal plays.  Given I spend ~240$ a year, I was thinking of switching to ESPNPLAYER, thinking I could get ALL UM games basketball/football for 100 and get much better quality with a direct online feed.  However, surprised to read that not all games are on the player.  How can you find out which games are not on the player?  What are other people's strategy?
