I really hope that Andy Reid keeps writing after graduating from the Daily. I loved the Pahokee piece and this just compliments it perfectly.

That Pahokee article was the balls. I printed it out for my dad the Buckeye, and my mom actually read it, and she kind of hates football. We had some really interesting discussions. I hope Andy Reid takes over the Freep, and maybe even the world.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father.

and it's understandable that Mom would hate football.

Maybe I'm showing my age and/or sounding kinda gay, but he's a cute little kid. He's like that little guy you wish you had as a younger brother. For some reason my sister and I can't get over the fact that he's named after Little Man Tate.

Dude, "kinda" would be very very generous.

I wonder if he ever imagined he'd have a little brother of his own someday.

How they passed over the obvious headline, "Tale of the Tate," I have no idea.

"Tale of the Tate" is better than 99% of those lame pun headlines ESPN comes up with otherwise I'd say that they were gonna use it soon...

and what do we get in comparison from the seasoned "pros" at Ann Arbor.com? Absolutely nothing of any value or interest, because coming up with this would require "work" and "effort" and "initiative," something the vast majority of "professional" journalists of all stripes are apparently unacquainted with.

"After all, he is, and always will be, a quarterback — as simple as that."

This was a great article. Very impressed. Maybe I missed it but I didn't realize Jason moved back to California. I thought he was still living with Tate. The article said he moved back for a job. Does that mean he decided not to go to graduate school? Just curious.

Great article on Tate. It looks like he has a great support system. Thanks for the post.
