Listen to Bagger Vance, and other thoughts

Here are some thoughts about Michigan after this past weeks game against Iowa. * Forcier needs to calm down, and listen to Bagger Vance's Advice, "See the field." * Forcier needs to make it look easy except when he can't. * Surprized that UofM offensive and defensive lines out played Iowa's lines. Iowa's strength through this year was line play. * Bigger surprize is that Michigan won in the trenches but lost on the scoreboard. * Would like to see Shoelace play a couple of series in both halves. * Brandon Graham is a stud * Donovan Warren is "the man". * It is time to readopt preseason hopes; make a decent bowl game.

I like the way you put that first point. As I mentioned in another thread, for the first time this season, at one point in the game, I saw Tate make a clear break to try and beat the corner, and instead of just going for it, he recognized that he could not, stopped, and made a beautiful first down throw. So it's coming.

On Graham for sure. The dude is a total stud. He has just been a terror out there this year. So who starts on Saturday vs. Delaware St? Tate or Denard?

Tate should definitely start. If he doesn't, then we have a distracting controversy. I would imagine that even those who think Denard, not Tate, is the better long term QB for the spread, he's not the better QB now. That being said, I hope Denard gets plenty of PT against Delaware State. Maybe Tate will get a big first half lead and Denard can play the whole second half.
