They are indifferent tacklers.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:00 PM ^
Lions defense missing tackles en route to a big Blount TD run. 14-7 with 3:41 left in the half.
smh at Lions D. Getting good pressure up front, but broken plays all going in Tampa's favor.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:00 PM ^
Wow Legarrette delivers some Blount-force trauma. I'm glad I got him on my fantasy team.
December 19th, 2010 at 9:36 PM ^
you're a shoe in for the broadcasting booth.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:01 PM ^
Tackling is horrible!!! How about wrapping up a guy instead of just hitting him.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:08 PM ^
by stanton on the forward pass.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:08 PM ^
Uh Oh, looks like Stanton got a little dinged up there on that play. Hmmm who is the back up?
December 19th, 2010 at 2:09 PM ^
I read that Hill is available today. So I think he would probably play.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:12 PM ^
Just seen him on the sideline dressed and pacing around with his helmet on.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:13 PM ^
stanton hurt haha jeeze the lions can't catch a break
December 19th, 2010 at 2:14 PM ^
Good god the Lions have awful pass protection.
Backus and Raiola back next year for an 11th season? Sure! Why not!
December 19th, 2010 at 2:17 PM ^
about that http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/messages/chrono/26476170
looks like they don't give up too many sacks
December 19th, 2010 at 2:22 PM ^
that in the NFL EVERY quarterback gets hit. There is no such thing perfect pass protection.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:16 PM ^
Are the Christmas lights on the scoreboard the timeouts?
December 19th, 2010 at 2:17 PM ^
ANSWERED

Makes another catch, but took time getting up and hopping off one foot. His tackler on ground as well (Nate Allen, rookie -- taken off field sitting up on cart).
Glad I waited to submit. Manningham back on field making the next catch.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
Man you gotta feel bad for Austin Collie. Poor kid - works so hard, tough luck with injuries.
On a lighter note, Ryan Fitzpatrick's beard is the stuff of legends. Seriously.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:33 PM ^
The Texans and Titans almost get in another fight. Antonio Smith is engaged with a Tennessee O-Lineman. Cushing comes over to break it up, Antonio Smith pulls off Cushing's helmet for stepping in. Cushing flagged for "removing his own helmet." Tennessee get's 15 yards to make the FG attempt super easy.
Fuck.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:36 PM ^
TD after Philly turnover. Now time to watch for NFL Lions thank-you ad.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:36 PM ^
Who else gets a 15 yarder for getting into a fight with your own teammate? Coach is soooo fired.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:37 PM ^
Strange to see a premier league ad on Fox - isn't it only aired on ESPN stations (ESPN2, etc...)?
Go Arsenal!
December 19th, 2010 at 2:42 PM ^
they air a lot of the games on Fox Soccer Channel
December 19th, 2010 at 2:43 PM ^
No there's the FOX soccer channel, who's logo showed up for a second at the end of the commercial, and that's who has the games. HOWEVA, I much prefer the ESPN premier league commercials with Mumford and Sons.
And +1 for Arsenal. Nasri's the man.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:53 PM ^
Cheers - I was doing dishes at the time and only caught the last bit out of the corner of my eye.
I only ever watch premier league on ESPN.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:46 PM ^
He still was not worth a 2nd round pick, but he is better than Blueskies.
December 19th, 2010 at 2:56 PM ^
Holmes, that's like arguing which STD is best to catch.
"I have syphillis (Stanton). Well at least it isn't the herp (Harrington)."
December 19th, 2010 at 2:58 PM ^
Both are probably better than HIV (Charles Rogers)
December 19th, 2010 at 3:11 PM ^
And Matt Millen is AIDS. Just dub his name over in the video.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:10 PM ^
Picks up first down. (WIth only 3 points and way back in their own territory, a first down can be considered a day-saver.)
EDIT: DIdn't save day. But Manningham sideline fumble may have. For Philly. Led to their first TD.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:18 PM ^
I think FOX is a little pissed at us all for making fun of the michigan-FOX-ninja-robot, because they mentioned the fumble and showed mario on the sideline like 15 times in about 2 minutes. he fumbled, we got it.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:47 PM ^
Ever since he didn't seem to know who AmARrni Toomer was when he first took over the Giants broadcasts. Troy Aikman was so tactful in trying to work into the conversation, without embarrassing his esteemed colleague, that AmANI was the Giants' leading receiver .
December 19th, 2010 at 3:01 PM ^
Seriously, someone tell Michigan's secondary to stop playing for the Texans.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:02 PM ^
And then we go and pick one. Not sure what Collins was doing there, that's the only guy that was covered. Yeah bad field turf!
December 19th, 2010 at 3:02 PM ^
Dang it stanton, how about waiting more than one second before deciding to run?
December 19th, 2010 at 3:14 PM ^
Than most teams do in a season (Lions excluded).
December 19th, 2010 at 3:15 PM ^
Cushing 0/2 on cutback contain that drive.
/head-to-desk
December 19th, 2010 at 3:16 PM ^
I think L. Blount is an outstanding player, what he is doing after contact is impressive.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:19 PM ^
They need dbs' and lbs who can tackle. These guys are costing the Lions the game.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:20 PM ^
Dude is a manchild. It's ridiculous. If he hadn't gone off his mind against Boise State, he'd have had a sick senior year with Oregon.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:24 PM ^
I've literally, never in my life, seen the lions get a break like that. Not saying it was a bad call, but the Lions NEVER get that call.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:26 PM ^
I think the next play was a great no call as both the wr and db were fighting and both turned toward the ball, but the hissy fit the wr had after the play was fantastic. Looked very much like my 4 year old!
December 19th, 2010 at 3:24 PM ^
i can't get the justin.tv stream to work, anyone watching online?
December 19th, 2010 at 3:32 PM ^
Holy shit Lance Moore touchdown. What a catch.
December 19th, 2010 at 3:34 PM ^
Long td pass /run? Field goal? Stay tuned!
December 19th, 2010 at 3:42 PM ^
In the end.
December 19th, 2010 at 4:20 PM ^
re: looks like they're going to pound it in the end
that's what she said?
December 19th, 2010 at 3:43 PM ^
On your fantasy teams. Jeebus.
