Yeah, it didn't look good. There's a chance it might not be that serious, as he was already dealing with knee issues coming into this game. So there's the possibility, he just tweeked it again.
October 2nd, 2011 at 1:59 PM ^
That is the one thing I hate about the NFL...Injuries are so rampant. Their answer to it is that they are a part of the game....It really is surprising that Manning and Favre lasted as long as they did in this league without missing a game.
October 2nd, 2011 at 1:58 PM ^
If Stafford can't do something this will get ugly. We already know we can't run the ball, if we can't complete a pass what do we do? We need to settle down and stop shooting ourselves in the foot.
October 2nd, 2011 at 1:58 PM ^
lot of game left.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:00 PM ^
The Lions cannot move the ball and the defense is a sieve.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:01 PM ^
Go away
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:05 PM ^
go to a Dallas blog or stop watching the game if you hate the Lions so much.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:20 PM ^
You sir are an idiot, do you remember last week? The lions are not out of it yet.
October 2nd, 2011 at 4:33 PM ^
For the second week in a row, you look really stupid.
October 2nd, 2011 at 4:36 PM ^
failed post
October 2nd, 2011 at 5:31 PM ^
What do you have to say about the Lions now? If you talk shit and call them out, when they come back and win you better be coming back on here and eating that crow. Fuckin hater.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:01 PM ^
a bad Oline is a bad Oline..no getting around that. Our D is a one trick pony, if the front 4 cant win the battle the rest of the D will lose.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:03 PM ^
It's kind of looking like the Lions are going to need a Romo injury if they're going to win this game.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:26 PM ^
stub his toe or something. Being that we can't touch him I doubt we will hurt him.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:09 PM ^
Down 20-0 last week, now 17-0. They are have to find a way to get off to better starts.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:14 PM ^
Thanks coach.
No really, go away troll. You have ten (and counting) posts on this thread that don't add anything.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:17 PM ^
My posts have been too emotional, so I won't post as much. But trolling? Nah.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:27 PM ^
disagrees with you. Your posts are why the "Trolling" moderate button is there.

I thought people were being harsh by calling you a troll. Then I read all your garbage comments. Go crawl back under a bridge.

No one gives a shit how you feel. Log off, kid.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:13 PM ^
FIRE JEFF BACKUS! Just got blown right past on that rush, forcing a throw and an incompletion.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:24 PM ^
Stafford is not going to make it a full season if the Lion's O-Line keeps this up.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:35 PM ^
does not look like himself. Is this a question of homecoming jitters? He has been slow to get the ball out, and he's missed wide open recievers. HOWEVA if any team has the firepower to get back in this its the Leos. CJ will get his, and that will turn this thing around.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:52 PM ^
he's worried about not dying.
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:45 PM ^
CJ gets his. Let's finish this.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:49 PM ^
LOL. Joe Buck just said, "One thing that set that up was the 38 yard retard...return."
Highlight of the game so far.
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:02 PM ^
I know a losing history breeds negativity, but some of the comments on here are pathetic. "Same old Lions" and the Wall Street tool who said "they're in for a correction."
They are playing like shit. Like almost all NFL teams, they have weak spots (for us it's the o-line and secondary). But make no mistake -- what is occurring right now, not what we saw the first three weeks, is the aberration.
This is a good young team that is still probably going to win 10 games this season.
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:03 PM ^
Stafford can't seem to catch a break here
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:17 PM ^
Bobby Carpenter ran a near-TD for a fumble in the end zone, which was recovered by Wright. Crazy. Read that one perfectly.
ADDENDUM: Chris Huston! Score!

Wow, the Cowboys just let us back in this game! Hopefully our offense can do something the next time we have it.

Delmas is such a garbage player.
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:32 PM ^
bullshit call against Suh. he hit his shoulder
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:32 PM ^
I like personal foul penalties to help protect players, but that one called on Suh was just flat out bs.
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:44 PM ^
....just has to be so careful with contact after the QB throws the ball. He didn't make a lot of contact with Romo after the release, but the launching motion with his head just looks so bad in the ref's eyes, 'specially with the supposed emphasis on head shots. He'll draw a penalty 9 times out of 10 in that situation whether we like it or not. And that totally sucked...kept the drive alive for 3 points.
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:34 PM ^
I the end, you just can't take the Lions out of the Lions: the bonehead penalty that keeps the Cowboys drive alive and kills whatever momentum we were trying to jack up.
In time, I guess, in time.
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:38 PM ^
that penalty against Suh was bogus. Its the NFL mentality that the QB is a god and they think Suh is a dirty player because he's so incredibly strong. Look at the replay, he hit Romo on the shoulder and romo was spun around because of it. His finger may have nicked his facemask, but in no way was that roughing the passer.
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:48 PM ^
Do you think?
October 2nd, 2011 at 3:36 PM ^
There is a factor that no one wants to discuss because it sounds like such a cheap excuse, but it's true.
The NFL has a star system that is even worse than the more discussed one in the NBA. Certain players are protected and certain teams are favored. The Cowboys are a favored son and, per usual against a traditionally futile franchise, have received all the calls (and in the case of holding to protect Romo, no-calls) today.
It's fucking bullshit and I'm sick of it.

Forward down the field,
A charging team that will not yield.
And when the Blue and Silver wave,
Stand and cheer the brave.
Rah, Rah, Rah.
Go hard, win the game.
With honor you will keep your fame.
Down the field and gain,
A Lion victory!
