If Stafford can't do something this will get ugly.  We already know we can't run the ball, if we can't complete a pass what do we do?  We need to settle down and stop shooting ourselves in the foot.

a bad Oline is a bad Oline..no getting around that. Our D is a one trick pony, if the front 4 cant win the battle the rest of the D will lose.

does not look like himself. Is this a question of homecoming jitters? He has been slow to get the ball out, and he's missed wide open recievers. HOWEVA if any team has the firepower to get back in this its the Leos. CJ will get his, and that will turn this thing around.

I know a losing history breeds negativity, but some of the comments on here are pathetic. "Same old Lions" and the Wall Street tool who said "they're in for a correction."

They are playing like shit. Like almost all NFL teams, they have weak spots (for us it's the o-line and secondary). But make no mistake -- what is occurring right now, not what we saw the first three weeks, is the aberration.

This is a good young team that is still probably going to win 10 games this season.

....just has to be so careful with contact after the QB throws the ball.   He didn't make a lot of contact with Romo after the release, but the launching motion with his head just looks so bad in the ref's eyes, 'specially with the supposed emphasis on head shots.   He'll draw a penalty 9 times out of 10 in that situation whether we like it or not.   And that totally sucked...kept the drive alive for 3 points.

I the end, you just can't take the Lions out of the Lions:  the bonehead penalty that keeps the Cowboys drive alive and kills whatever momentum we were trying to jack up.

In time, I guess, in time.

that penalty against Suh was bogus.  Its the NFL mentality that the QB is a god and they think Suh is a dirty player because he's so incredibly strong.  Look at the replay, he hit Romo on the shoulder and romo was spun around because of it.  His finger may have nicked his facemask, but in no way was that roughing the passer.

There is a factor that no one wants to discuss because it sounds like such a cheap excuse, but it's true.

The NFL has a star system that is even worse than the more discussed one in the NBA. Certain players are protected and certain teams are favored. The Cowboys are a favored son and, per usual against a traditionally futile franchise, have received all the calls (and in the case of holding to protect Romo, no-calls) today.

It's fucking bullshit and I'm sick of it.

Forward down the field,

A charging team that will not yield.

And when the Blue and Silver wave,

Stand and cheer the brave.

Rah, Rah, Rah.

Go hard, win the game.

With honor you will keep your fame.

Down the field and gain,

A Lion victory!
