Lions/ Niners Open Thread

The Lions' refs haven't been stellar, but did anyone see the Rams-Skins game? They were horrendous. Even the announcers said it was an embarrassment to the league. 

Will say, I think Schwartz is going to kill one of these refs before the night is over.  That last play probably shouldn't have counted, and some of these calls are just infuriating.  There's a reason these guys are not the usual refs.

I recognize there have been some injuries. But it's obscene that the lions' defensive backfield remains every bit as bush-league as it did three years ago. That they keep drafting receivers is absurd.

Step into a throw. 

Helps to run your route past the first down marker. Of course an accurate throw would be nice too

If the pass is too high for Megatron then it's definitely way too high.

That was on Stafford.  Easy 1st down if he throws a catchable ball.

We've never had a running game minus sims and sanders and the secondary has always sucked!  I'm actually surprised the offensive line is giving stafford a decent amount of time but he seems to have forgotten how to throw the ball.  ugghh same old lions man

If you can stop their run you stop their offense. Unfortunately, that is easier said than done.

He missed a wide open Pettigrew. That is a rookie mistake.
