starting Mad Men season 1 tonight.
Mount St. Mary's hired a private equity CEO to be their president. You'll never guess what happened next.
starting Mad Men season 1 tonight.
Or are you just watching them again?
I'd like to pour a nice drink and dig into my HTTV.
Except it still hasn't come yet.
Where are you? I've gotten mine. It went to Indianapolis first before coming back to Ann Arbor.
At least my Dad in Saginaw got his in time for his birthday. Heck, everyone I know has gotten theirs.
I checked on Kickstarter again too, just to make sure the address was correct.
Emailed MGoBlog about it, no response...
I haven't gotten mine yet either and I'm in st Clair shores...the rumor I heard is if you ordered non Brian faced shirts they take a little longer.
Glad to know that I am not alone in this though.
Yea, I'm not that upset cause I worked a ton last week. I'm more mad cause I ha my second copy (instead of the signed one) to my buddy in the army without him knowing. As long as his makes it I can always buy one later
I received mine Wednesday in Ellicott City, MD.
I got the Mgophotobomb (or as my wife said, what the hell is that?) shirt as well, don't know if that makes a difference in shippping times.
Mine hasn't come either, didn't even order a shirt or anything.
Same thing here. I checked the mailbox and KNEW it would be in there today so I would have it for the weekend, but no, it wasn't.
Great Lakes Brewing: Burning River. Good Stuff.
Canadian rocks......even you Clarkie, even you
I took today off to help build a play structure for the kids, and the grand unveiling is at their combined birthday party (their actual birthdays are only about 5 weeks apart, so we do this) tomorrow afternoon. Yeah, even with four people, it's a sh*tload of work.
So, to soothe today's aches and to be in a better mood for tomorrow, Woodchuck Hard Cider and a smattering of Hoegaarden it is. The Tigers game is helping right now too, of course.
Let's start drinking?
Throwing back some Buds, watching the Tigers game, and then am going to start season 1 of Breaking Bad (never seen it before).
Get ready to watch the best show you have ever seen.
I did the exact same thing LAST Friday night, except with Miller...I will be starting season 3 this evening
So you're saying I need to reserve season two from the library ASAP. I'm on it.
I am drinking a gin and topnic, Dave Brandon needs to listen to Bud Selig, I will attach an ESPN.com article that is very relevant to recent happenings in the Michigan sports world. I suggest you all heed Selig's words and convey your beliefs to Brandon.
on the patio tonight. Not normally a rum drinker (this is my second time in two years), so hopefully things go well.
Rouge Yellow Snow IPA
Miller High Life with my kid asleep, my wife working in the other room, and my cat curled up against my hip snoring while I watch Michigan-ND UTL on ESPNUHD.
I was just thinking "I wanna watch this game" but I'm not home with my sacred DVR. And then you posted this. And then I rejoiced.
You are a gentleman and a scholar.
Becuase I could not toast you in person, I gave you a pos-bang.
I just watched it last night again for probably the 5th time. Wife and kid are in Virginia means I get to watch UM games from the DVR. Drinking Gnarley Head Old Vine Zin. I had about 20 Busch Lights last night so I'm a little off.
Why no Genny, man? I grew up on that stuff (Rochester beer for anyone that doesn't know). I actually started to find it out in Ann Arbor and was pleasantly surprised.
Just saw this now. I can't drink Genny. I would love to support a local brewery but it just doesn't sit right with me. I like good beer, but when I wanna get hammered I choose Busch Light!
Hell yes, High Falls Brewery!
I'm in GR and got the Brian shirt...not complaining though. I am a patient man.
Celebrating my uncle's 50th birthday in Aspen for the next 3 days, so, yeah, everything.
Started of with Victory's Summer Love then some Hop Head Red later...
Open the hop head red...good suggestion.
The naked bootleg by Denard with :50 to go in the 3rd quarter of UTL is a great play. It really shows the ridiculous acceleration of Denard.
We should live blog the 4th QTR of UTL from espnu. We're down 24-7, I think we can win this one! Call me crazy but I still believe.
As long as we can punch in this 3rd and inches on the goal line.
EDIT: Damn, I totally forgot about the groundball fumble recovery by Denard. Awesome that the stadium shook the camera on that one.
Ermahgerd Dehrnerd picked it up and ran it in!
And I really want to.
((she said with a screwed up, confused face))
As long as I don't have to "call you maybe."
Right when I hit save that same thought/song crossed my mind and I knew I would hear about it!
Was just thinking that. AndI can't get enough of the pass that set that shit up... the poor ND guy wrapped around his legs... and he's still able to whip it down the field.
One ice cube.
Bud Light and NHL 12 for me.
Miller Light for me, and possibly a mass quantity. I'm dog-sitting for my dad, and this damn dog pisses everywhere (including my socks and shoes) except outside.
Also dog-sitting. It's going to be a sad night of TV and booze that I will thoroughly enjoy.
Downing some Tito's Handmade Vodka with my HTTV here in Oregon,
High Life in bottles. It's miller time!
I enjoyed the same last weekend. It seems like their bottles go down faster than others.
I feel it's the design. I find I go from 1 to 6 pretty quickly
Big House is a rockin'. I told you guys we had a chance.
Kelly, U MAD BRO!?
Root Beer. Golf outing tomorrow for a dear friend that left us too soon. Will do all my drinking tomorrow on the course.
Case of Coors light
The defense was not very good on this drive.
The was a bullshit PI call.
Forgot about that turnover. I stand corrected.
Brent Musberger is an idiot... this game was last fall, and I still don't think he realizes that Vincent Smith didn't have the ball on that play.
Brent is my homeboy
What about those of us starting the first day of Ramadan today. No food or water from about 4 AM till 920 PM. Drinking straight water and gatorade to rehydrate for the night
Bark and Pour until the season starts,
had a couple Bud Lights and a double Jack and Coke. Now I've had a few Shandy's, Stella Artois and an Oberon. Have a few Bud Lights left. Sticking with Stella for now.
Data point for the "waiting on the HTTV crowd," mine (plus the photobomb T-shirt) arrived in College Station today.
Data point for the "what are you drinking crowd," sipping on some Glenfiddich 15 and working my way through Breaking Bad, season 2.
Just got off work, watching some Baseball Tonight and enjoying some Jack on the rocks.
Checking out a new brewery in Chicago called Atlas. Pretty legit. Rockin Hyperion double ipa at the moment, but their pale ale was the tops.
OMG, we totally scored too quick! ND is gonna score!
No worries, there's 30 seconds left, and Robinson only needs 28 to score.
Cigar and a Founders Centennial IPA on the patio.
Been laying tile, grouting, laying stone all day for about 14 hours, let's drink!
That's hard work son. And messy too, at least it is when I've done it.
Here in Houston for the summer, trying to stay cool. Only have one more month left but I'd kill to be back in beautiful summertime Michigan. Maybe this gin & tonic can help ease the heat.
Bold Ass Prediction: lol Kelly approaches lol Sparty after this years ND game. He was soooo disgusted at being Denarded in UTL.
Not drinking. Watching a ridiculous Braves-Nationals game though. Braves fan here, yep. I wanted to post something earlier about this as I was geeking out when it happened, but early in the game they did a close-up of a certain fan sitting in the stands behind 1st base. The fan you ask? Kork Coupons! Sitting next to a girl in a Braves jersey (good looking and very good team taste). Mr. RG III-backup is of course in Washington ready to start playing foosball again soon.
To get to our vacation house on Lake Huron. Not sure what is in the fridge, but I'm drinking it. Brought some Shiner Blondes, Goose Island 312, Blue Moon, and Steigl grapefruit radler (not for me) to drink while we hang out on the beach for the next two weeks.
I would say that 6.5 hour drive was worth it! Enjoy the time off!
Smoking a Cohiba from Habana and.drinking Rolling Rock. Perfect birthday.
some rum concoction at PHL's Chickie's & Pete's with crab fries and a cheese steak.
Now I'm finally home and I have some BC I might break into and then watch Family Guy.
Finally got my HTTV too so I'm gonna read that.
I am just locking your editing ability tomorrow when you come back and look at this thread. You know, saving it for posterity.
Drink 2 glasses water and take a vitamin B complex before you go to bed.
"Huuunggg ooovvveerr" post.
Beam and coke while watching the Daytrippers on Crackle.
I'm so drunk!! AHHHHHHHHH
B. Nektar's Ethiopian coffee blend mead and some Zinfandel. Makes up for a lousy day as much as it can, newswise...
Over in ludington had a couple micro brews on the lake shore. Good night to all!
I'm having a blast at work with some coffee.
