Let's all over-analyze things Derrick Green said in his Rivals chat
So you were surprised to see that Tacopants made it to San Antonio? The obvious explanation: Shane's personality is simply that magnetic.
...the Canadians make up for it with their emotion and classic ice-dancing skill.
Eh, I was under the impression that he wasn't taking the whole skills challenge to seriously by the way he handled the transition between the first few targets. I'm not too concerned. He jokingly said something along the lines of, "Can we go again?" at the end too so you know he wasn't exactly pleased with his performance.

Not to mention he tweeted out before it was televised that it was his worst performance of the last three days and not to expect much. I mean what was his distance on the deep throw? I feel like I've seen him beat that from his knees before.
He said "Sorry momma!" on twitter because of it. haha
Yeah, people need to calm down a bit with Morris and I'm not sure how he became such a "savior" figure seeing how he truly isn't the second coming of *insertHOFQBhere*. He has a monster arm for a kid that isn't 6-6 230+, is fairly mobile, etc. Yet, things such as his handedness can cause issues. Then, he is not very consistent in that one day (sometimes hour) he will look like the best QB prospect in years and then have a showing like the skills challenge. Nothing to freak out about but his success will rest on his head and accuracy more than anything. I look at him and I see a left handed Henson (and that is amazing, IMO) just without the maturity and consistency. Morris still wants to Favre every ball and that hurts consistency and mechanics. IMHO, he is a definite RS if possible. By that I mean I hope Bellomy starts to show why he IS a D1 QB as a backup. He is better than we've seen. I hope Morris is not needed next year as the kid is not ready and doesn't have the weapons Henne had as a FR.
this is the 1st really important decision of his life, make sure it's what you want Derrick and may you succeed in all your endeavors and make sure you get your degree no matter where you decide to go.
But we would love to welcome you to AA, you'll be much loved!
Did anybody else notice the perfect punctuation and assume that Derrick had a ghostwriter? Did anybody else catch the question where said ghostwriter revealed himself as Fred Jackson?
"Guys like this play linebacker at Notre Dame. Guys like this, built like this; they don't play offensive line" - damefan1 on Taylor Lewan
Definitely fits the name scheme. The all DG backfield with D & G at wideouts.
but I was on ESPN, and saw on the twitter feed that Kugler seems to think Cameron Hunt might be leaning blue, at least this was how I interpreted it (https://twitter.com/Kugleybear57)
So it goes.
This could be a completely stupid question. But could there be any chance Michigan's in the running for newly decommitted WR Sebastian LaRue?
I'm wondering this too. He has official visits scheduled for TAMU and Notre Dame in January already, but he has not announced where he will take his 5th and final visit -- you'd have to think we are at least in the running for it. It has to help that Shane Morris is his QB in the Under Armour game. You'd think Shane is recruiting him hard.
Tremendous?

adamgorney Any rumors about Sebastian LaRue and #Michigan seem to be untrue at this point. 1/2/13 6:37 PM |
Avatar is a reference to this. Go Blue!
I don't understand how Texas A&M can even accept anymore commitments. They already have 34!

Bah, post not in correct spot lossed it 'oomph'

I will get negged for saying negative things even if objectively true, but he missed the entire 10 foot by 10 foot sled (much less the small circular target) multiple times. give him some time I guess - he has a cannon. but goodness.
