Lets act like we have done this before. Huge win, yes. But OSU was 6-5 heading into this game.

Go down some more ensure, grandpa. We have every right to celebrate this victory to the max considering how their fans have treated us during their "streak".

Celebrate = YES. Brag = NO.
We should blind them with our arrogance of not having to brag. This is time tested and inflicts the most pain.

We have not done it in seven years.
Celebrate like Mardi Gras!

This was my first win over Ohio as an M Fan, so I can't act like I've been here before because I haven't!

It is time to howl at the moon. We may have been there before but it's been a long time.

Why not celebrate.. Did any of us think Hoke and staff would take this team to a 10-2 mark with a win over OSU and BCS bowl game his first year in? No. Live a little. GO BLUE.

Won UTL, got off the schnide against Ohio, and won ten games. Bring on Houston!!
November 26th, 2011 at 4:55 PM ^
You know what you guys, I've been waiting for too long to celebrate a win over these pieces of garbage like a mad man. This is a HUGE win for the program and gives Michigan a 10 win season, and possibly a BCS bowl.
Yes, it's great to act like we've been here before (we have, a lot) but it feels so good right now to celebrate. Plus this game made history, this was the 8th home win, which is the most home games ever won at Michigan in one season.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:56 PM ^
nah... outside the past 3 years...we have been competitive with Ohio...just came up short... this year we beat them despite multiple mistakes and not playing that well frankly...
So....celebrate like it is 1999 minus the Y2k scare...
November 26th, 2011 at 5:17 PM ^
Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys and beating Ohio is a good start!

I want a shirt to celebrate, but I refuse to wear a buckeye helmet or logo on my body in any way
November 26th, 2011 at 6:42 PM ^
Reading the comments on the 11w vent thread... I know we should be gracious in victory, but seriously, f. those guys. I mean, read their comments. We can respect the rivalry all we want and respect the effort that Ohio's offense gave, but Ohio's fans?
To hell with those a--holes.
TONIGHT WE DINE ON BUCKNUT MISERY!!!!!!!!!!!

I drink the tears, of buckeye queers.
40-34. In 2012, we're coming for more.

No need to brag. We're Michigan. But if it makes you feel better, go ahead.
Happy as I am, on so many levels, this was not our best game. This game should never have been close. Worst Buckey team in a decade and this was too close all the way to the end. If not for that stupid spike on 3rd down, this might have had a different ending.
But this was a great game for Hoke and the whole program. 10-2 (coulda shoulda been 11-1 / 12-0), beat OSU, probable BCS bowl. And exorcised a whole lot of ghosts.
Thanks Brady. Hoke Lives. Go Blue.
