Leonard Fournette on ESPN2 tonight at 8

Submitted by althegreat23 on

I know we're longshots for Leonard Fournette but for those looking to see him in action, Fournette's St. Augustine (LA.) team takes on loaded John Curtis (LA.) tonight on ESPN2 at 8. John Curtis has LB target 4-star Kenny Young and former 5-star WR target Malachi Dupre.

I know that sometimes MaxPreps doesn't have the most up-to-date numbers, but according to this (HERE), Fournette has 25 carries for 238 yards so far this season, good for 9.52 YPC along with 3 TDs. In the receiving game, he has 6 receptions for 131 yards and 1 TD, according to this site anyway.

It's rather clear Leonard's brother only received an offer from Bama to entice Leonard. The younger Fournette isn't big enough or more importantly good enough to deserve that offer on his own abilities.

What a great looking player....although if this was college he wouldn't have been on field.... He'd be getting tested for a concussion because he got rocked on that previous pass. His facial expression didn't look like he was "all there".

Have mercy. There is a Tigers playoff game on; and the rebroadcast of the Presidents Cup, for which I avoided spoilers all day. And I am watching a Louisiana high school football game.

John Curtis, Edna Karr, and St Augustine are pretty much the "Big Three" in NOLA, and all of the games between them have been great.  Curtis beat Carr last week in the last minute, so they were sorta "due" for a close one to go the other way.

in pads. He just glides and chucks tacklers at will. What a talent. Whoever lands this kid will reap the benefit. He runs like the A-Train but with more power and strength.
