Full Bracket Here.  Michigan opens with Bucknell on Nov 17th, then Detroit on Nov 20th.  From there, they play Oregon at 9PM on Nov 24th.  That game will not be on TV, instead on ESPN3.  Championship the next night at 10PM.  What terrible time slots for this tournament.

Yep.  They can make up what they miss in school that day.  There are only so many opportunities to make memories like you can have at events like this.  Whether it's a sporting event, camping, or hunting, never let one day of school get in the way of spending great time with your kids.

Oregon has been a quite solid basketball program recently (no idea how they'll be this year, I admit) and Michigan has been very good. That should be a game of two pretty solid, top 25ish teams early in the season. So I don't understand how it would get pushed off onto ESPN3

According to their current roster online, they return only one of their top 5 scorers from last year (Joseph Young, who averaged 19 ppg), and also bring in four new FR, Jordan Bell (top 75 player), Casey Benson (3 star), Lyle (on their roster, top 50), and Ahmaad Rorie (3 star). They also bring in a highly touted 6'7" JUCO and a less touted JUCO 6'10" big, who apparently was decent, but struggled to remain healthy (I assume so early in the season he'll be healthy).

Probably still a fringe tourny team if the roster is correct.

I hate ESPN3. Awful, constantly fluctuating video quality. Really a piece of shit site. At least the Great Alaska Shootout is televised. I rather Michigan play in that at 1am EST and win easily on TV. Cumong man.

Actually, ESPN3 is great for me when in on a fast connection (hard line), like at work or on a campus computer. My home wifi isn't even terrible anymore.

Might be that you access it on a slow connection...

its own thread so I'll just throw it here in the nearest basketball thread:

Aaron Craft signed a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors today.  LINK

No guarantee that he makes the opening night roster, but I really didn't think Craft would even sniff the NBA this season due to his offensive shortcomings.  Good for him, I suppose.  Maybe we'll get to see this shot come up an extra couple feet short this year in a Ws game:
