I'm so mad that this couldn't have happened three years ago, when he was just coming to Michigan.

Or what looks increasingly like my dog is succumbing to cancer right in front of my fucking eyes
Really sucks.
Thanks, man - vet just told me days to live... my boy turned nine in February
What you posted sounds exactly like what we experienced several years ago with our schnauzer Riley. No fun to go through with a beloved family pet, especially when he thought he was 'people'.
Yeah, that's rough. My dog just turned nine last weekend. Take care of him and you.

Oh, interwebs, how I love thee

and certainly could be the makings of his career after the NBA. Real money maker there...I'd buy some.

He better as hell trademark that, then make fine Canadian salsa. This is one of the best nicknames I've heard in a long time.
Ok, but now I really like "Fine Canadian Salsa" as his derivative nickname. Or maybe that's the proper way to describe a three: "And there's Sauce Castillo, with some fine Canadian Salsa, to break the tie and put the Kings up by 3!"

So does anyone have a screenshot of the closed captioning saying "Sauce Castillo" with Nik on the screen? I keep seeing people making memes of this but not the actual image, which in my opinion would be the funniest of all.
Deadspin has the video: http://deadspin.com/closed-captioning-error-blesses-nik-stauskas-with-f…

This is beautiful. Oh, so beautiful.

Marketing possiblities are endless. This is pure gold. Long live Sauce Castillo*.
*Technically speaking, it's probably Nik Sauce Castillo (assuming "Stauskas" is misinterpreted as "Sauce Castillo").
Thanks captain obvious.

You gotta love voice recognition technology. My Android phone has actually put in "fuck you" a couple of times for totally innocuous statements. Luckily, I always look before hitting send.
I am sorta surprised that it kept making the same mistake over and over, though.
So that begs the question, what name would cause the close captioning software to come up with....

That name is too perfect!! Move over Ron Mexico, Sauce Castillo is my new go to fake name!
March 26th, 2015 at 12:53 PM ^
Is he eligible for the 2015 All-Name Team?

Twisty approves.

You guys ever had the Tapatio Doritos flavor? My god.
Someone already claimed the mgousername. Dammit
sorry :/ ......
I bet Sauce Castillo would taste GREAT on a Taco Charlton!
Saucey
Love this nickname. Sauce Castillo. The Canadian Salsa.
Like they said, this is one of the best things that's happened for Nik since going to the NBA.
Now when he's winning 3-pt contests, it'll be raining sauce. He's heating up. This is just going to be so awesome to watch going forward.

Unfortunately, the only clip I could find of this commercial (from ~20 years ago) says "Five Brothers...One Passion", but I remember "Five Brothers...One Sauce".
