MLB Michael Taylor expected to commit to Florida. Does not look like Michigan will be signing any MLBs for the 2nd straight year
LB Michael Taylor to Gators
How is Florida getting all of these guys? Come to Michigan!
Florida is recruiting like its a video game here. This is starting to get a little bit ridiculous!
Doesn't that make like 47 signees this year for Florida?
Also Rich Rod is going to Tennessee. Per Ninja Football, whose best friend from the second grade is having an affair with Monte Kiffin. So he's in the know.
The Florida recruiting juggernaut keeps rolling on and on and on....
He visited them last week and really, Really, liked it
Florida just gets every defensive recruit on the board, why even try.
Jelani Jenkins, Taylor could come to Michigan and play NOW instead of waiting in line.
What does Meyer tell these kids? That will 25 recruits, including three 5-star players, four of them in the last four days.
Why does it feel like we're falling further behind and missing the boat?
silver lining: at least we're not Tennessee...
On the bright side, maybe they run out of scholarships and Baxter cant go there. Its doubtful, but it could happen.
Seriously he could start next year in place of Kevin Leach
tell them the same thing Sneaky Pete did to his 5* RB corp. "Keep this hush"
game in the first year of the new regime. Losing games on the field is one thing, losing out on a chance at a recruit to a bunch of liars and cheaters is much harder to stomach.
Grimes and Murphy are starting to look more important every day.
Parker is still looking good.
Baxter sounds like a stretch but you never know.
think they will re up with usc
This is disappointing. I feel a lot less confident that we'll pull any signing day miracles this year. I guess we're still in on Rashad Knight and the "mystery" lineman. Regardless, I like our class and hope to see them succeed.
It's crazy to think that a few weeks ago the big news was Meyer leaving and now that's a null issue and when all is said and done he will have the #1 recruiting class in the nation. I am insanely jealous...
Jeffcoat is still on the board for them and I am not sure about some others but they already have a very good class. Craziest thing about theirs is most of these kids committed a year ago.
anymore. College football is all about getting to the NFL and Florida, Bama and USC get more there than anybody else. Ever since the 'Horror' Michigan has been falling of the radar as a place to get to the NFL. We used to be a cradle of QBs and defensive players, now we're simplly 'rebuilding'. That's a tough sell against Florida's success and the lure of USC.
I can only imagine the negative recruiting that these bastards are doing to steal recruits. It's very easy to create doubt in the mind of an impressionable 18-yr old.
The thing is, it should be easy to negatively recruit against USC right now, with Kiffin and the sanctions possibly coming, yet look at how they recruit.
What's the worst thing that can happen as a result of sanctions? Loss of scholarships, perhaps vacated wins. But I think some recruits won't care as much as you think. After all, they have coordinators in place (Chow, Monte) that developed a lot of players and put them in the NFL. If I were a prospect, that would be a big plus.
Isn't Chow at UCLA not USC?
There are reports coming out, via rivals and espn, that Chow is joining the Kiffins at SC.
I wouldn't assume that USC is going to have a great class yet. They might very well because Kiffin is very good at recruiting, but a lot of players might still jump ship. If I thought I was getting a players' coach in Carroll and then found out I was getting a loose cannon in Kiffin, I would forget I ever heard of the letters "USC."
Antonio Kinard - your inside linebacker this year
I saw way too much of that Gator chomp thing.
How much do they pay each of them?
