LB Biegel likely between BYU and Wisconsin

Submitted by Dreisbach1817 on

The vibe is that Wisco LB Vince Biegel (probably will be a 4 star when all said and done), who visited Michigan about a month ago, is focusing on BYU and Wisonsin.

From our standpoint, LB is a position of need -- but for quality, not quantity.

With Ringer likely committing in 2 weeks, I bet we take 2 more LBs, maybe 3 depending on who wants to come.  And with those 2-3 spots open, clearly we'd focus on Ross, RJS, and Bolden.  Biegel is a very good player but he would probably have been 4th on the list anyway.  So long as we land the quality, I'm fine.

I know you're kidding, but this statement is kind of true in some instances.

A big reason kids drop certain schools is because they see that they've become less of a priority.  Michigan will take 2-4 LBs in this class, and it looks like one of those spots is filled by Ringer.  After that, M will keep recruiting Biggs, RJS, Bolden and then the guys at the tippy-top of their wish list.  If RJS and Biggs go elsewhere, we might open things up a bit more, but taking Ringer and any two of RJS, Biggs and Bolden will be sufficient.

He looks solid and I would of course welcome him to the team if he chose Blue. OTOH, I really like the feedback I've been hearing about silent-yet-tweeting commit Kaleb Ringer and I'd really like to snag RJS and Biggs.

We land those three and maybe another, depending on quality, and I'll be very happy with our LB class.

Probably BYU & looks like he'll be carrying his V-Card well past 22 yrs old...So good luck with that!

Anyways, I think we really want Biggs and RJS paired with Ringer.

I that were me, I would have so much sex before I got to BYU...then again, I wouldn't be going to BYU with that attitude so I guess this is really just one dumb run-on thought.

On another random note, here's some BYU cheerleaders.

And I'm 100% with you about Ringer/RJS/Biggs.

I'd like to know how you know that there are "a lot of sluts at BYU, just like any other school."  Have you spent time at BYU and "any (or every) other school"?  Is that how you know this?  I try not to make rational generalizations about large groups or people, especially 18-22 year old women.  Instead, I'll choose to make an assumption about you.

You're an idiot.

Have you noticed that Wisconsin rarely gets any 5 Stars and few 4 Stars?

In the last three recruiting classes, they have landed zero 5 Stars and a total of only four 4 Stars. http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=8&toinid=690&yr=2009

He is mormon and both his father and uncle played for BYU.  If he chooses Wis, I  would assume proximity to home would be a major reason for the decision.

The things that you mention are the reason I cannot tighten up my spreadsheet anymore than it is.

I'm somewhere between 60% and 70% when looking at the past 3 classes.  One thing I found odd was that 5-star players stay closer to home than 4-star players, then I realized schools will work harder to keep their instate 5-stars.

Anyway, I just post those percentage so I have something to look back on and see if I was correct.
