That would make sense. Thanks for the reply.

Quinn Nordin favorited and retweeted it.
This is like the worst kept secret in recruiting history.

Not saying I disagree at all, just curious why he's going to wait another month and a half before he announces. That seems odd.

pressures kids to make their announcement at the game. It helps with the TV ratings if there are recruits that haven't announced yet.
And I'll be honest, watching future Michigan kids or kids committing is the only reason I would watch it.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:44 PM ^
and I still don't watch the All-American game.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:27 PM ^
The spotlight, partner. It would be good for Michigan to get some attention during these games anyway... especially if he's a lock.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:05 PM ^
Long and Hill would be a great way to end DB recruiting
November 29th, 2015 at 9:06 PM ^
release the recruiting hounds
November 29th, 2015 at 9:16 PM ^
23. Jordan Elliott
24. LaVert Hill
25. Quinn Nordin
26. Rashan Gary
27. Kareem Walker
28. Jonathan Jones/Devin Bush/Dontavious Jackson
Who else?
- Isaac Nauta
- Pie Young
November 29th, 2015 at 9:21 PM ^
a great finish to a great class.
Not impossible either.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:30 PM ^
I'd be stunned if Pie didn't commit. This tweet really did it for me-
All the ichigan fans go follow @CamJuice4 soon to be with the family
— MIAMI_PIE # (@youngpie_1) November 29, 2015
Rivals said it was pretty much Nauta to UGA unless Richt got fired. And, yeah. That changes things big time. Especially if they drag their ass to hire a coach, because Nauta is gonna be an early enrollee.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:36 PM ^
Who is Cam juice?
November 29th, 2015 at 9:51 PM ^
2018 Prattville ATH Cameron Taylor.
November 29th, 2015 at 10:06 PM ^
Oh OK. Thanks guys
November 29th, 2015 at 9:37 PM ^
I was just listing them.
But if you drop Reese then you can add both Young and Nauta.
I started at 23 on accident and I meant to start at 22 with Elliott.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:32 PM ^
We need hardman
November 29th, 2015 at 9:52 PM ^
Definitely want Hardman
November 30th, 2015 at 12:06 AM ^
Thats why pfizer is killing it with their blue pills
November 29th, 2015 at 9:36 PM ^
So that bumps Nauta or Young in...need just another spot for them. Doesn't feel like David Reese winds up in this class. So that gives you 28.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:25 PM ^
but with all these pending commits, Hill, Gary, Jackson, Nauta (?), Nordin, and Walker, where would we make room?
November 29th, 2015 at 9:28 PM ^
Some of our current commits may be looking elsewhere or be given greyshirts.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:43 PM ^
And that's why Harbaugh is going to have to cut back on accepting so many 2 star kids so early in the recruiting process. Like I've said before, I think Jim took some of those kids as a safety net. He wasn't sure how successful this year would be, and how many top recruits would be interested in coming to Michigan just yet. He wanted to make sure he had some talent coming in, one way or the other. Though I believe we've quickly gotten back on the map and can now focus our attention on top recruits right from the start.
November 29th, 2015 at 11:41 PM ^
Now it seems ridiculous that he offered unknown kids that he saw at a camp ONE TIME! It made no sense.
November 29th, 2015 at 11:59 PM ^
Well, I trust Harbaugh's judgment in terms of talent evaluation and a kid's character more than the infotainment recruiting services. I suspect there was more to the evaluation, prior to making an offer, than your post suggests.
November 30th, 2015 at 2:08 PM ^
the publicity of handing out offers had to be a strategic decision to hype the camps and boost attendance and excitemnt about them in general, though arguable the level of impact it may have had.
Is he going to repeat it next year? Probably not, but I think this year it definitely served a purpose.
November 30th, 2015 at 4:18 PM ^
on the recruiting map and will help them get better D1 offers, if they don't stay commited.
Also, they would probably stand a better chance of getting playing time at other schools.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:32 PM ^
Free article came out today that Rashad Weaver is gonna take an official visit to Temple.
That seems.......like a strange place to go visit.
David Reese seems to be as good as gone from everything I've heard on WTKA and elsewhere. Sam just doesn't see him sticking.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:42 PM ^
When we're bringing in Kemp, Gary and Elliott.
I wouldn't be mad, that's mean...but hey, call me a star gazer...besides we need LBs.
I'd rather keep Reese and lose Weaver if I'm really being an asshole.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:34 PM ^
He will look great in a winged helmet.

We are also going to have some attrition with current players to open up spots. My guess is Green is gone, Butt to the NFL, etc.
November 29th, 2015 at 9:41 PM ^
And all that does is allow us to get a full class, but the question is how do we get all of the guys rumored to have warm+ interest when we already have 22 commits. We'd go over 28.
The answer is we'll lose some of the guys committed.
November 29th, 2015 at 10:04 PM ^
Peters to butt

I agree that Green is gone. I think Butt stays though. Right now it looks like hes projected as a 2nd or 3rd rounder. He is a stud in the receiving game but his blocking is still less than desireable. I think he stays and very well may end up being a 1st rounder in the 2017 draft.
Plus I like the idea of him staying and us getting Nauta and seeing them both on the field together. Maybe even see Butt, Nauta and Bunting on the field at the same time.
November 29th, 2015 at 11:30 PM ^
Don't forget Wheatley Jr.!!! Word is the kid can block, and fly when he's given a route..
November 29th, 2015 at 9:51 PM ^
22. Jordan Elliott
23. LaVert Hill
24. Rashan Gary
25. Kareem Walker
26. Pie Young
27. Jonathan Jones/Devin Bush/Dontavious Jackson
28. Isaac Nauta
--------------------------
29. Quinn Nordin - either Greyshirt or we lose Reese and/or Weaver
30. Mecole Hardman - a combination of not get Nauta, Nordin Greyshirt, or we lose Reese and/or Weaver
Anyone else realistically on the board right now? Connor Murphy? Terrence Davis? Dylan Crawford? Donnie Corley? Jordan Fuller? Keyshon Camp?
November 29th, 2015 at 9:56 PM ^
Don't forget about Jean Delance, the OT from Texas.

On the MGoRadio last week, Steve Lorenz mentioned that the staff might not take a commitment from Davis at this point. He thinks they might be saving that spot for an OT as opposed to an interior OL.

Still a long shot... UGA will bring a prostyle guy in and keep Eason committed and Nauta will still likely go there
