Rivals is reporting that David Reese and his Dad sat down with Harbaugh today at Schembechler Hall and he will play linebacker at Michigan.  They are trying to work thru some small issues so that Reese will be able to enroll in January at Michigan.  His Dad put the chances his son enrolls at Michigan at 99.9%.

I am unable to evaluate film on football players (a man must know his limitations), but I would say a solid in-state middle LB is a plus!

We need to own all in-state 3-star and 4-star recruits. David has an awesome work ethic and is home grown. Love that he has the confidence to express his goals to JH ... we need those kind of guys. David has a high ceiling and we are fortunate that he is now 100% on-board !

I get the Reese's candy bar, if you read that name Reese's that's an apostrophe-S. Reese-apostrophe-S, on the end of that name. That means the candy bar is his, I didn't know that. Next time you're eating a Reese's candy bar and a guy name Reese comes by and says "Let me have that," you'd better hand it over. "I'm sorry, Reese, I didn't think I'd ever run into you! You're a fuckin' bully, man! Let me at least have a piece!"

Was expecting him to be the first decommit tbh. There was talk about him switching to Louisville about a month ago but this past week a few crystal balls went to them to reignite that theory. I guess we will see what happens.

Hmm... not sure about this.  In Harbaugh I trust but some pretty bright minds on these boards tag him as pretty slow of foot to be a Big 10 LB and liked him far better as a FB.  If Charlie Strong were still at Louisville I'd take that as a strong over ruling of these board comments but it will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Also with Harbaugh he likes to position switch so what might start out at LB might end up at FB by year 2-3.  We'll see.

I was wondering about that too when the poster said he will "play LB at Michigan."

But, players have mentioned before that Harbaugh will let them try to play whatever position they want to play. Also, Harbaugh seems to be unabashedly honest, so I'm sure he's made clear that Reese can try LB but that he thinks he's a better fit at FB.
