+1 to you, NDetroit22... whoever you may be...

Some faults? Good fucking god, man. Les Miles LIES TO and CHEATS his players. Not an acceptable fault... Liars, cheaters, thieves will not be tolerated. Funny how those 3 always run together, too

Over/under on what proportion of RR haters who were OUTRAGED by practicegate will support Miles when he pulls some serious shit that actually harms our players?

I love these guy's voices.

I've come to the conclusion that anyone supporting Miles doesn't actually read the frontpage of this blog.

I reserve the right to think for myself.

You must realize that there are actual rules in the Big Ten about recruiting that actually have to be followed, unlike the SEC. Right?!
January 8th, 2011 at 2:08 AM ^
this isn't 'nam. there are rules.

You should've attended Northwestern. THEN you could have had athletics that no one cares about AND a great education. Your bad.

What influence do you think your temper tantrum/ stand against this pathetic hiring will have on whether he gets hired or not?
It is DB's job to set the tone and expectations of the future coach whomever that may be.
We don't have natural grass anymore.
Him being 60 only matters if he coaches till he cant remember what play was just called. IF he's hired, the ideal situation would be for DB to also hire Hoke as DC at the same salary or slightly more than he's making now and groom him for the takeover where Les can retire in 5 - 10 years.

OR Loeffler as OC to take over.
What you fail to realize is that Carr set us up for failure NOT by having bad recruiting classes or the like. But, by flat out refusing to offer up any kind of viable replacement when he stepped down. He knew he'd be leaving after Henne, Hart and Long Graduated and he left us with Mike Deboer's cadavar to replace him.

but I thought that was a little greedy. I sent that scenario in a tweet to MNBNation earlier. With 3 Michigan men back in the big house, its entirely possible we could unite the fanbase (except for brodie) in one move.
January 8th, 2011 at 2:34 AM ^
why not just hire Hoke now and spare ourselves the probation and the grass eating? That makes no fucking sense.
January 8th, 2011 at 2:50 AM ^
Cause hoke is just gonna fail cause he doesn't have (edit: enough) experience of being the head coach of a D1 program. Did I get that right? *assume the worst possible scenario about someone that way you can justify your outrage*
January 8th, 2011 at 6:42 AM ^
I'm with you on most of this. But lay off the grass-eating. It's a fine digestif. Also, keeps your immune system on it's toes. Also, back to nature or something.

And as soon as he beats OSU and wins the B1G Ten you will magically forget you ever wrote this. Come on this is crazy the guy can obviously recruit and win games. Did you see the game last night?

Are all the Jon Gruden rumors just "wishful thinking"? Or is their some actual smoke?
January 8th, 2011 at 2:19 AM ^
Wishful thinking, and wishful thinking's ability to read an undertext to a comment that is the complete opposite of what the comment actually was.

I would hate to see two alumni turn down Michigan in one week. Of course, this is assuming Miles gets offered

Success! Also - Brady Hoke is our coach. That is all.
