...talks about how UConn hasn't been in contact and how they're out. (HT: UMHoops)
Late Night Open Thread
WJBO is my new favorite station...they are getting blown up with Michigan calls. "Everyone would love" if LM come to UM, acccording to the last caller (from Flint).
Les told the team after he wasn't leaving.3 players confirmed
Hello, 911? yeah it's Quagmire. yeah, I got it caught in the window this time.
than I doubt LM is coming here. Didn't he say the same thing to his players at Ok State before leaving though? I find it hard to believe, that Les would do it again. He is has to know how that would make him look. Not that I would be thrilled with hiring Les, but if UM already contacted other candidates, and it's down to Les and Hoke, I would take Les.
I love it how us Michigan fans are up at 1:30 am eastern time talking about the program! Go Blue!!!

I also can't believe how cool the hosts are being to Michigan callers. They are welcoming them on, thanking people on the "Michigan message boards" for the attention, and answering questions about how Les, who is still their coach, will do in AA. Very, very professional.
"Nobody cares what you think!"
LSU fans really sound like they will sincerely miss les miles when he comes to michigan. the players love him
The invasion of the LSU post game show is epic. They really can't doubt our fandom from this point forward
video of Les Miles clapping, gotta love it!

Leaders and Best
please just hire a good coach soon. I don't know what to think anymore, about The Hat, The Hoke or any mystery candidates - and these constant "breaking news" deals are making my brain bleed.
At this point, I will be glad to have a coach and possibly rationalize that DB had a plan all along and needed to wait for LSUs bowl game to come and go. But, If I wake up tomorrow to read that Miles told UM to go fuck itself, I'll kick a baby....a human baby...right in the goddamned face. I cant take this shit anymore.
That might be the hardest I've laughed stone sober at 2 in the morning.
If I find out DB put me through all of this to go hire Hoke I'll lose my sh*t... We coulda had F'ing Brady Hoke the day after OSU OR the day after MISS. ST. OR the day after he knew Harbaugh was headed to the NFL!!! I'd be seroiusly pissed if we waited all this time to name BRADY F'ING HOKE as our next HC!
if two michigan men turned us down?
edit: I hope that doesn't happen but there are conflicting reports as usual
"I'll make ya famous!"
Not that he has any integrity

It's kinda hilarious how Michigan fans from all over the country have completely taken over this radio show. Nobody is even talking about the Sugar Bowl.
Don't you mean Cotton Bowl is the alcohol talking?
"I'll make ya famous!"
Are LSU fans happy he may be leaving?
Missing Ann Arbor
I will seriously barf if we hire Les Miles. You retards who obviously care more about winning than the integrity of the University of Michigan can enjoy your mentally handicapped 58 year old coach, but I'm done with football if this comes to pass.

Fielding Yost was a rascist!
I'd rather be associated with a cheater then a rascist any day of the week.
it's than you middle school dropout piece of shit

but if your love of college football is so easily lost because of a potential hire then I have to question your allegiance in the first place
hell either way this is exciting and any press is good press
"I'll make ya famous!"
hey captain no punctuation, my allegiance is to my alma mater not to the COOLEST HELMETS or whatever. I expect integrity from Michigan, it means a fuck of a lot more to me than whether I can brag about fucking Rose Bowls to my buddies.

the type of person that irons their underwear. IDGARA if my lack of punctuation offends the delicate nature of your retinas.
"I'll make ya famous!"
Do you REALLY want integrity and .500 football? I know it's the right thing to say and all, but will that really make you proud? I'm honest enough to admit I'm willing to accept some faults for a respectable on-field performance.
Yes. Football games are not the fucking be all, end all in my life. I would like to win them, but I'm not going to let myself cheer for a cheating asswipe just so I can say LOL SPARTY LITTLE BROTHER LOL again. And if you disagree with me, shame on your shallow asses.

well, I respect your opinion, though apparently you don't respect mine. I think either way we're going to end up with an asshole that can with games sooner or later. Even if we hire a distinguished gentleman with the .500 record, he's not going to last for long.
" Football games are not the fucking be all, end all in my life."
And yet, here you are with the rest of us, on a Football themed message board on a Friday night before the bars close. Interesting is all.
"Look, nothing is fucked here, man."
"Nothing is fucked?!? The goddamn plane has crashed into the mountain!!!"
football games or drinking, the only two things that can matter in your life!
let me be clear: I love football, I love Michigan football. But I will not sit there and cheer for the death of Michigan as I know and love it just so we can win more games.

Frees up a seat for someone else. I have a question for you, have you ever played football? Not that it makes a difference in the discussion, I just like to know who I'm talking to.
"I'll make ya famous!"
hahahaha
nice try, cap'n crunch.
