Let's be honest...there's only one topic. It's all just variations on it.

this is good for a laugh...

The private jet in Baton Rouge was carrying donated organs, not recruiting Les Miles. Miles is in Dallas

next up is gaining the ability to see in planes instead of just track them...

yup, happens all the time.  transplant pays big bucks to borrow a jet, and a few trips a month can really offset the cost of ownership.

when the med jet gets tied up survival flight will contract out private planes for a lift.  not sure where that jet was based but this is par for the course for many private planes.

Legit question here....

Many people salivate over Gruden, but do pro coaches often do well going back to college?  Weiss was clearly a flop (funny visual), but did others succeed?

It is hard to draw conclusions since so few NFL head coaches go to college (and so many of those were college coaches first).  Carroll had a winning record and two playoff stops in four years with the Jets and Pats.  We know what he did to college football.

Wannstache got 11 years in the league (same as Gruden) as a head coach and had a losing record with 3 playoff appearances (don't think he ever won a playoff game).  Gruden made 5 playoff appearances and went 5-4.  He finished with a 100-85 record.  To me he's a more dynamic personality as well as a better coach.

Even a guy like Weis was able to recruit because of a Super Bowl connection as an OC and he looked like a beached sea mammal.  Wannstache recruited well to.  To me Gruden is a far superior coach (as evidenced by his track record) with a much more engaging personality (he reminds me a lot of Carroll, in fact, from an infectious personality perspective).

Patterson and Mullen as my top 2 choices as well. At this point, I don't think either one would come here though. At this point if I had to choose between Miles or Hoke, I would go with Miles, despite the problems I have with his oversigning practices at LSU.

A handicapper named "Johnny Detroit" just tweeted:

Not confirmed by any national media, but have a solid source who is telling me Les Miles is planning to go to Michigan. Stay tuned....

Miles is didging questions about Michigan and if he'll return to LSU.  Just says he loves LSU.  That's pretty much coach talk for he's leaving.

Has losing Harbaugh made everyone lose their minds? Most everyone will march in lock-step with Brian's Hoke-Hate, but don't listen to him when he says he'd rather even have Hoke than Miles??? Have the last few years been so bad that so many are ready to give up what Michigan has stood for and say "eh, screw the kids, everyone does it". If Miles is named the coach, Michigan Football as we've known it is dead. Never should anyone every quote Bo again on this site. Because the idea that someone would take one of their kids and boot them out because "hey, I got someone better" would make him puke. And probably get on a plane to fly down there and kick Les in the ass! I can't believe so many are so beat down they're rationalizing Miles. Ugh.

First, Brian's become a bit of a drama queen when it comes to coaches.  He finds some flaw in every one.  I'm a little tired of it.

Second, we do not know the full story of that kid losing his scholarship.  Miles has not gone public with his version of events.  Why do we assume that every kid who leaves Michigan is a "bad apple," but that this kid is some Joe College?

That's not the point. It doesn't matter if the kid was lazy or an asshole. Miles could have done something similar to what Rod always did and called it a "violation of team rules" that led to a dismissal Instead, Miles has just shut up about it and apparently refused to talk to the kid about it. I sense no remorse.

You "sense no remorse"?  What, have you interviewed Miles about this?  I doubt you know what you're talking about,  And I don't either.  Maybe we shouldn't rush to condemn when we don't have the facts at our disposal.

You're inablitly to read and comprehend is incredible.

Of course people should love Michigan on M board. My point was the **BLINDNESS** that sometimes results from it gives the impression of a self-entitled, arrogant school. You can see these feelings from posters and fans who you talk to or read posts by.

I'm not sure why you got it out for me, but this is twice now I've came back at you with a logical thought. The first time you didn't respond, this time will probably be no different.

So I haven't gone back and responded to anything. State of the board right now.

<br>I can "read" you fine. You just don't make any sense. It's not "entitlement" to believe Michigan should hold itself to a higher standard. Primary among that is college sports are about the student athlete first, and what is best for them. Win doing things the right way, and you have something to beat your chest about. Selling out, that's for other schools. You pop in, and basically say "fuck that". And frankly, if you didn't go to the school, you saying how that school should represent the rest of us doesn't hold a lot of water. And if you did, you weren't really paying attention to any of the coaches or leaders while you were there.
