Let's be honest...there's only one topic. It's all just variations on it.

After watching the Cotton Bowl I think he would be a great fit in our offense. Their defense was aggresive and was after that ball.

Seemed to me that LSU ran a power running offense, which I'm not sure would be ideal for Denard.  Of course, they may change with personnel.  What I like about Les Miles is he's more of a true CEO--he delegates to his assistants, does not micro-manage too much.  (Ironically, the same can't be said of Michigan's ex-CEO AD.)

The one thing would be these alleged ethical issues. We can't have any more violations or our program could end up like the basketball program which is now only starting to recover. Other than that Coach Miles seems to have a knack for winning.

I know Hoke and Les have their drawbacks (okay A LOT of drawbacks) but I have no problem getting behind either one.  Fwiw,  I've gone against all my beliefs and read some of the comments on espn.com articles on both Les and Hoke and both fan bases seem really worried about losing their coaches.  If they can get behind theirs, why cant we with ours?

I.E. this article http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/blog?name=feldman_bruce&id=5991231 (SIAP)

These comments are definitely tolerable.

Miles post game comments seemed like those of someone about to jet.  The way he was so complimentary of the fans, and the state in general seemed odd, that said it is Les Miles, but I get the sense he was buttering them up before an exit.

That sounds like something a coach would say who IS about to leave.

No "I" haven't been contacted...my agent has. And why say something as coy as "Why would I leave, I'm having so much fun here" when you could say "I'm not interested in Michigan, only LSU"

he's adamantly denying any involvment with Michigan, but then again, coaches almost always say that.  I'm wagering that if nothing is anonunced this weekend about anyone not named Hoke, then it's going to be Hoke.

Leslie Jeremiah Miles, or whatever the fuck your name is. We need your mad-hatter ass.

Or, maybe we don't and need program stability and growth.

Hell, I don't know.

Harbaugh's dead, I'm numb and confused.

This is what's been missing from the Michigan psyche all these years.  All of our arch-rivals have another team that they can hate with blind, undying hatred when all else fails.  ND has USC.  Ohio State has the SEC.  Michigan State...well...they have basketball.  Now that there is a Judas among us, we can turn on this false prophet and ostracize him for the good of the greater community.

If someone makes "My favorite teams are Michigan and Whomever Plays the 49ers" bumper stickers, I'll buy a dozen.

Both of my parents grew up in Cleveland in the '50s, right at the zenith of pro sports there.  My mom isn't big into sports, but even she knows that STEELERS = BAD.  My dad still bemoans the fact that the Browns passed up the opportunity to draft Roethlisberger.
