Well comrades, we have been through a lot this past three years.
Tonight brings a myriad of good news in the way of recruits, coaches, and the official MGoGirls were named- Mila Kunis and Kate Beckinsale.
Also, I am one test away from becoming a resident of Detroit and grad student at the University of Michigan.
Open your drinks and let the pos banging begin. This is a time of celebration.
Let the good times roll...until a mod deletes this thread at least.

It is going to be intense and you have to jump a lot of hoops. Just act the part if you apply. Act like a leader and you'll be fine. If you get Detroit and I make it, I will personally be a support for you!

If I pass this test, I will be getting my Masters at U of M. I have free reign on what I can take. I am thinking either Education or Political Science.

Well I have taught for 2 years in PA as a social studies teacher. I am done with this state and ready to take on other challenges in my home state. Teach for America wants me to teach science in Detroit. I have to pass the MTTCs for science first though....I took the prctice test and didnt do so well. I am trying to get them to switch it to English or Social Studies.

...one the MTTC you're taking. The Basic Skills Test is so easy it's silly. The subject tests can be a little harder. You mentioned PoliSci, and I think that is only a teaching minor. Would that mean you're taking the Social Studies test?
I've taken the Basic Skills, Economics, History (major), and Social Studies (RX). I did fine, and you seem to be quicker and wittier than me. Plus, you're Hunter S. Thompson...I'm suprised they haven't exempted you.
Seriously...the history test was flush with world history questions, the economics was full of common sense (high school econ BS) questions, and the social studies was super general. Let us know how you fare.

I will either have to take the science or the english. I got the social studies down pact. Took the Praxis for PA in social studies and passed the first time.
