I like the tridents on ASU's field next to the numbers.
I'm amused by the thought of Oregon State vs. Oklahoma State. OSU vs. OSU where both teams have orange as one of their primary colors would be fantastic.

Fear the fork! I love the new helmet but I do miss Sparky on the headgear.

What's funny is I thought you were kidding about that "Fear the fork" bit. Then I noticed said slogan on the stadium wall.
You know what? Maybe Pop Evil isn't so bad after all. At least when music's not being played, it disappears into the ether.

That particular slogan is a few years old now. Next time they show the student section you will probably see a shirt with the same slogan.

No, the mascara wearing dog groomers need to die an early death. Neg me if necessary, but they make me sick so bad it hurts me.

I thought you were going to say you were amused at OSU-OSU because Okie State would hang like 99 points on Oregon State.
October 2nd, 2011 at 1:23 AM ^
OSU would be guaranteed to lose. But yes, the Okies would eat up the Beavers like Bret Bielma eats a block of cheddar.

They'd put up numbers like I do one game a season on NCAA 11.
#1 M 103 FCS Midwest Dragons 0. QB 16 44/45 540yds 8TD 0INT 267yds rushing.

but shouldn't #7 get some playing time after #16 completes his first 30 passes and scores 42 or so points?

I just want to put on my bowler hat and play some Fielding Yost point-a-minute football with no forward passes and no platoon system. I want to run a single-wing offense and invent the linebacker position. There should be a "Historical Football" version where you can play as Chicago and, I don't know, Ohio Wesleyan against Yale, Princeton, and Cornell. Super-old-school ball.

In my Pitt dynasty I could play as Pop Warner, complete with realistic cigar smoke. Although he's not exactly Manball. Damn kids these days, wearing shoulder pads and all that...

at work.. at least "The Man" doesn't mind me being on mgoblog.

a couple great ASU-MICH games in the past.

1986 Rose Bowl was an M loss but a great game.

TD Cameron Marshall! Kid is a horse.

Andrew Luck has the rarest combination of athletic prowess and personality type I have ever seen. He's a freak and a nerd. It's weird.

Peyton Manning Jr.
October 2nd, 2011 at 2:22 AM ^
Luck is a better overall athlete than Manning.
October 2nd, 2011 at 4:26 AM ^
So you're saying I should draft him for my fantasy team to replace Peyton. So let it be written.

Went to Harvard, just handed Tom Brady a loss, maybe will prove to be the real deal.
Or, you know, any given Michigan QB.
