Late Games Open Thread

Probably mostly MSU-ND, but Clemson-Auburn, Miss St-LSU, Texas-Tex Tech for those that don't have it blacked out, and Iowa-Arizona later. Third time's the charm.

Is at least 30% Clemson fans. It was going crazy after that TD just now. Can be a good selling point to recruits that your home games sounds more like neutral site games.

Wow, Indiana went to Bowling Green to play Western Kentucky.  They must have really wanted to observe Big Red in his natural habitat.

Oh, they're also up 24-7

After today's poor performance against UMass I'm guessing we are going to possibly drop a rank or two but if Auburn loses would we move up or because of today move down towards the bottom like 22nd or possibly 25th? Is there a chance we might be dropped from the poll completely after today?

Auburn has a very good defense but man, this offense is rough to watch.  This has always been an argument against the "great" SEC defenses - some of these offenses are just abysmal.

MSU has the ugliest uniforms/helmets in the big ten now. I think Keith Nichol would play so much better at QB against ND because of his running ability. Hes no shoelace but just the threat of him running would keep the defense honest. and open up passing lanes

Other than "Sparty, no!", can anyone explain any of the following items to me:

  1. When did Bronze become a Michigan State color?
  2. Why beveling is so important in your font, that you include it in your yardage numbers.
  3. Why you would have a white shouldered alternate jersey that makes you look like an FCS school trying to draw attention to yourself.
  4. Why you would make your helmet strip so wide, but then narrow in the back?

It just depends on the school. Some, like Michigan, are all about tradition (TRADITION!!!). Some are more into being up to date and "hip" guess if you want to call it that. Who the hell cares what styles they decide on. I don't like the jerseys particularly, but they don't look offensive or anything.
