Strange to find myself interested in the Nebraska games now.
September 18th, 2010 at 3:30 PM ^
Just got beat by Temple. Its really hard to know how good we actually are.
September 18th, 2010 at 3:32 PM ^
On the defensive play......They are what we thought they were
September 18th, 2010 at 3:34 PM ^
I'm probably going to have Air Force @ Oklahoma on the TV and Arizona State @ Wisconsin on ESPN3. Might switch over to the latter if OU runs away with it.
I have the Ole Miss / Vandy game on right now. Fans are booing their own Rebels for quickly huddling. 5 minutes left down 2 scores.
September 18th, 2010 at 3:37 PM ^
Could they pull off the unpossible and beat USC? No?
September 18th, 2010 at 3:55 PM ^
It could happen, USC is bound to self destruct at least once this season
September 18th, 2010 at 3:57 PM ^
drew first blood, USC has problems on defense too.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:02 PM ^
I don't think it's a this season sort of thing. Almost invariably, they smash some really good team, and then proceed to get it handed to them by an inferior opponent.
See: 2006 game against UCLA
September 18th, 2010 at 3:39 PM ^
Minny vs. USC might be a little interesting. Wiscy looks like it will just run over ASU.
September 18th, 2010 at 3:43 PM ^
Time to see me some Threat.....I really hope he plays well today and has a great game. He gave it his all in 08 and I'll always respect the kid for giving it a go before he made the "right" decision to find a school that will better suit what he brings to the table
September 18th, 2010 at 3:46 PM ^
It really would be funny to see him beat Wisconsin a second time.
September 18th, 2010 at 3:43 PM ^
Threet is back in Big 10 country. Wonder if the folks in Madison remember him and his speed.
September 18th, 2010 at 3:50 PM ^
Nice to see Threet playing well with ASU. Really liked the kid while he was at UM.
September 18th, 2010 at 3:51 PM ^
Normally I would cheer for the Big Ten in this WIsc-ASU game but I'm rooting for Threet here. Amused to see Threet run a littie bit of the spread option here lol.
September 18th, 2010 at 3:52 PM ^
GOPHERS!!!!!
September 18th, 2010 at 3:57 PM ^
ASU missed the chip shot FG. Gonna be a long day in Madison.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:02 PM ^
OU just ran it down AF's throat for the opening TD. AF still got pressure on Landry including a sack. AF drove down to the red zone, but had to settle for a FG. Slow game as 10 minutes off the clock with only 1 drive a piece.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:04 PM ^
GO THREET!
September 18th, 2010 at 4:04 PM ^
Pouncey is Yakety-Sax-ing snaps left and right for UF in the game against Tennessee.
Gator-fan fiance not thrilled when I pointed out the importance of a good center, name-checked ours.
Also, per announcers: Brantley has not yet thrown an INT in 3 years at UF. Which would be more impressive if this weren't his first year starting, but ... you know.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:06 PM ^
Not strong on the special teams, Wiscy.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:20 PM ^
I half hope that the next time they throw a flag during a ASU return, it's one on Wisconsin. The entire Badger team gave up as soon as they saw a flag. Someone should have at least tried to nail the returner so he'd remember for the next attempt.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:06 PM ^
Wow, 97 yard KO return for ASU.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:09 PM ^
Big 4th down stop from Tennessee
September 18th, 2010 at 4:19 PM ^
Wisconsin might be worse on special teams then ourselves.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:24 PM ^
Unpossible!
September 18th, 2010 at 4:22 PM ^
Wisky looking risky. ASU looks to be out toughing them right now.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:24 PM ^
Steven Threet Wisconsin's Kryptonite? Discuss..
September 18th, 2010 at 6:08 PM ^
I don't think Wisconsin coaches were losing any sleep over him game planning against the Sun Devils...
September 18th, 2010 at 4:25 PM ^
If like me your stuck with Duke - Alabama on ABC the Washington-Nebraska game is available here.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:27 PM ^
ESPN3 probably has it in your area, too.
Those of you without AF vs OU, AF is still in this in the 2nd quarter. They've missed a FG, but they're moving the ball well and forcing OU to punt twice now. The AF full back Tew is a beast.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:25 PM ^
Threet looking good so far for ASU.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:29 PM ^
Threet has thrown some pretty passes and just evaded a blitz really well.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:37 PM ^
I've hated Tenn since birth but please turn that muffed punt into a TD.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:43 PM ^
that running game make me think they will run all over our poor defense.
They have some absolute beasts for RB's. And a damn good offensive line to boot.
We will have to put up 45 points to stay with them....
September 18th, 2010 at 4:44 PM ^
Wow Minnesota just got screwed with that call, clearly never touched him.
September 18th, 2010 at 4:48 PM ^
Wisconsin is having their defense get beat up... I feel terrible. They've lost two stars so far.
Edit: oh and Clay may be hurt.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:03 PM ^
Wisconsin just took the lead before the half. AF is only down 10-3 to OU. OU is around mid field with 1:23 to go.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:05 PM ^
LOL 95 yard kick return by ASU. Down at the 3, time expired. No points on the 10 second run back. Wisconsin, so bad, so lucky there.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:07 PM ^
Oh my God he was tackled at the 1 yard line or he would have had that returned! Amazing.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:10 PM ^
AF takes a knee after forcing an OU punt. 10-3 OU leads at the half. AF is looking pretty solid. You can see their tackling isn't as crisp getting close to the half.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:16 PM ^
Go Or St!
September 18th, 2010 at 5:17 PM ^
having technical probs... I cannot hear the announcers... the crowd noice drowning them out.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:20 PM ^
So if Minnesota somehow comes back to win this, would it be the biggest win since the Jug in the Year of Infinite Pain?
September 18th, 2010 at 5:25 PM ^
for Wisc so far?
September 18th, 2010 at 5:27 PM ^
Big pick by Minnesota. Get a shorter field for 1st possession of 2nd half.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:34 PM ^
Wow. I have always considered Adam Weber to be an extremely marginal player but he is playing pretty heady today.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
What a catch by Minnesota. Tied, PAT for the lead. McKnight with a great catch over the corner.
September 18th, 2010 at 5:37 PM ^
Great Minny TD grab
September 18th, 2010 at 5:38 PM ^
That ball couldn't have been thrown better. It would be great to see Minnesota pull it out.
