October 1st, 2011 at 4:58 PM ^
some of us were praying for in this MSU/OSU debacle so far.
October 1st, 2011 at 4:59 PM ^
Anyone know how the hell Baylor just scored a TD? I was warming up my laptop when KSU was goig to kick a field goal> Announcers are talking about that took less than 60 seconds!
October 1st, 2011 at 5:01 PM ^
...were still full of timeouts from last week, but I guess he had room for one more.
October 1st, 2011 at 5:02 PM ^
MSU-OSU is just as cute as I expected. More, I demand more hilarity!
October 1st, 2011 at 5:08 PM ^
Washtenaw county is 2-0 today! Eastern got Akron.

I honestly have never seen so many cries for penalties in a game as this OSU liveblog.
October 1st, 2011 at 5:41 PM ^
More fouls plz
October 1st, 2011 at 5:41 PM ^
i can't wait to see how this was just a brawl of two great teams and not, you know, something resembling a cripple fight. we've had some painful games for other fanbases to watch but this.... sucks

When OSU is playing their 2nd/3rd string qb/RB/lt/wr.

No seriously. They are.
October 1st, 2011 at 5:47 PM ^
Bethume-Cookman scored more points in the first quarter against Miami(Fl) than OSU did in the whole game.
October 1st, 2011 at 5:50 PM ^
No way. Another clutch foul!
October 1st, 2011 at 5:53 PM ^
Any of you think Ohio has to take Braxton Miller out for this 4th quarter?
October 1st, 2011 at 6:02 PM ^
Bauserman comes in and loses 5 yards and they punt. They are TERRIBLE at QB.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:04 PM ^
Taken care of, my friend.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:16 PM ^
Many respects.
October 1st, 2011 at 5:54 PM ^
OSU is just putrid, but I have to keep reminding myself that the remaining members of the Tat 5 return next week. The first three games with those players back are at Nebraska, at Illinois, and home vs. Wisconsin. Those three games will be a better indication of the kind of team we'll see on November 26 than this pile of garbage.
October 1st, 2011 at 5:54 PM ^
Ohio State reminds be of 2008 Michigan.
October 1st, 2011 at 5:56 PM ^
The crowd goes wild.
October 1st, 2011 at 5:56 PM ^
Also: Sparty No!
October 1st, 2011 at 5:56 PM ^
Sparty does its usual Sparty thing. This game should be well in hand.

October 1st, 2011 at 5:58 PM ^
I'm trying to figure out what was worse, the play call or the throw. On review, the throw, though Sims doesn't seem like the guy who's going to sky for that.
BAUSERMAN!
October 1st, 2011 at 6:01 PM ^
I have $20 that Sparty finds a way to lose this game.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:03 PM ^
...if Ohio could move the ball 30 yards on offense.
But then again, maybe Cousins throws a pick-6, they go to overtime and lost on a FG 10-7.
No deal.

These players look like a bunch of retards trying to hump a doorknob.
Just thought this thread was lacking in Dodgeball references, no offense to the mentally handicapped.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:04 PM ^
Worse than Minnesota's?
October 1st, 2011 at 6:13 PM ^
I don't see any method at all sir
October 1st, 2011 at 6:04 PM ^
In case you're boared, Michigan-Ohio on How the States Got their Shapes on the History Channel.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:12 PM ^
I'm not so much boared as swined
October 1st, 2011 at 6:06 PM ^
Can OSU put up 10 points with 10 minutes left in the game?
October 1st, 2011 at 6:08 PM ^
Can Lloyd Brady, NOT be awesome?
October 1st, 2011 at 6:10 PM ^
Nope
October 1st, 2011 at 6:06 PM ^
Sorry for the off-topic post; I created some wallpaper for the Northwestern game, but this being my first post and all, I obviously can't create a new thread. Could someone kindly make a generic Northwestern wallpaper thread so I can post in there and share them with you all?? Thanks!!
October 1st, 2011 at 6:09 PM ^
post it here, it's an open thread.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:24 PM ^
Yes, do this. I want to see.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:35 PM ^
Ok, will do. I guess I just thought it would be easier for ppl to find them during the rest of the week if they had their own thread, as opposed to buried deep in this random thread. I suppose a mod could always make it into a separate thread if they saw fit... : )
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9ZNM6WCH (~4mb zip file)
Please excuse the MU link--none of the free pic-hosters would allow me to upload it at it's original size... : (
In that zip file are both a widescreen(1920x1200) and 4:3(1600x1200) wallpaper, and two versions of each. After I finished it, I realized some of the text would be pretty hard to see for those of you who would be shrinking them down on tiny monitors, so I created a version for each that retains the visibility of that text better at shrunken sizes. It was really made for 1920x1200, though...
Anyway, here's a preview:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/Milkyslims/2011%20Michigan%20Football/NU_2011_wide.jpg
Obviously, if you want the full resolution, or the 4:3, you have to get the zip file...
Finally, I'm no photoshop guru by any means, but I hope you enjoy them nonetheless! If anything, thank Monumental (yet again!) for being such a great inspiration to the rest of us! :D
October 1st, 2011 at 6:37 PM ^
I like it, thanks.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:46 PM ^
You're very welcome; I hope others will find them here, too!
October 1st, 2011 at 6:46 PM ^
But with that predominant, isn't it almost more Northwestern wallpaper, not Michigan?
October 1st, 2011 at 6:58 PM ^
I'd be lying if that didn't cross my mind, but... I guess I wanted to reiterate/highlight them as a pretty tough opponent, which they will be, especially at home. Like a, "now it gets serious" type of vibe... Plus, it's all I could come up with that wasn't lame.... :D
October 1st, 2011 at 6:14 PM ^
Any word on which recruits they have in the house today?
October 1st, 2011 at 6:25 PM ^
Yeah, really. Can we call all of their WR recruits (paging Stanford) and be like, really? You want to go play for that?
October 1st, 2011 at 6:15 PM ^
I know we're supposed to be rooting for OSU because MSU is in our division, but this is just too sweet. OSU's offense now has negative yards total in the 2nd half and 86 yards for the game. Haha.
October 1st, 2011 at 6:17 PM ^
SMU is whacking TCU 27-10 towards the end of the 3rd quarter.
