Is there a reason Pitt isn't pressuring him at all?
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:44 PM ^
Screw it. If Notre Dame wins out, so be it. Let them go to the national championship and get destroyed by Alabama. I'd be perfectly fine with that.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:46 PM ^
Think about the recruiting, money, and hype that they would get just from making it to a national championship game.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:58 PM ^
ND being in the title game is a terrible proposition for any of its recruiting rivals, and Michigan is one of them.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:44 PM ^
I could go for an int or fumble in the end zone right about now
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:45 PM ^
Well, this is it.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:45 PM ^
If Oregon demolishes USC, I think they hurdle ND
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:45 PM ^
"Team of Destiny"
these announcers are so annoying..
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:47 PM ^
Well, you could turn off the sound and listen to Don Criqui on the radio.
Never mind.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:45 PM ^
I hope ND at least gets destroyed in the human polls. ND is the exact reason you don't leave it to a computer to rank teams.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:51 PM ^
I think it will turn out exactly the opposite--if they win out, at the end of the year ND won't be #2 in any legitimate computer ranking not bound by the BCS rules but they'll be #2 in the human polls. They're already behind Oregon and K-State at Massey, even before this.
Computers aren't affected by the relentless media drumbeat--the voters will be, eventually.

besides MICHIGAN winning today.. the rest of today/night sucks
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:47 PM ^
I am having flashbacks to Chad Henne taking a goal line snap in 2005. Why doesn't this ever happen to ND?
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:48 PM ^
Notre Dame has 9 lives.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:48 PM ^
FUCK YOU ND AND MSU
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:48 PM ^
I hate college football.
That is all.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:48 PM ^
two chokejobs tonight..just brutal to watch
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:49 PM ^
I hate this, god damn it, this is why we can't have NICE THINGS
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:48 PM ^
Sometimes it's your year.
We had it last year, Notre Dame and Nebraska have it this year.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
MSU up 24-14 and you just knew they were going to lose.
Pitt up 20-6 and you knew they were going to lose.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
The only good thing about ND winning is that Manti Teo is a good guy.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
That's a double suck
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
On the bright side, Iowa is going to have 30 seconds to drive the length of the field to beat Indiana. Who wouldn't love to see a 5-7 Indiana team in the B1G championship game? Especially if we get to play them.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
Well the refs in South Bend did their job again. God damn it.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:52 PM ^
ND undefeated? Please bring them to justice. It's all I ask. I just don't get it.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:55 PM ^
Here's justice: Oregon is killing USC. Notre Dame squeaked past Pitt in 3 OT. The Irish won't get a even sniff at the NC game.
November 3rd, 2012 at 7:57 PM ^
ND winning is breaking news on the espn networks....really? Jeez
November 3rd, 2012 at 8:01 PM ^
Sucks. I don't recall breaking news when Oregon or KSU are undefeated.
November 3rd, 2012 at 8:01 PM ^
Indiana actually might go to the Big Ten championship game.
November 3rd, 2012 at 8:07 PM ^
20 yards behind the play on an interception return might have kept Michigan out of the Big Ten title game.
