MSU helps us or sucks some more. Win-win. It's actually a pretty good day for games all around all day.
Mod Edit: Couldn't help editing the title. Staee! [zl]
Go Green! I'm rooting hard for MSU today and then getting blackout drunk after the game so hopefully I'll forget it ever happened.
and taking a nap. Sounds like a good afternoon.
Yep, that's Simba made out of a pineapple.
Oklahoma just picked off the gloriously named Steel Jantz to end the Iowa State threat.
Should be no delay in seeing a Christmas-colored East Lansing.
I'll just say it: If MSU does us a favor, Arizona wins their game tonight, and USC loses to Oregon...
M and the Wildcats will each control their own destiny for a spot in the Rose Bowl.
Oh my would ABC love that.
The rematch of that 49-0 game against Oregon says they don't control their own destiny.
If Oregon runs the table then beats 'Zona in the P12 champ game, presumably Oregon goes to the MNC game and 'Zona, as the P12 runner-up, goes to the Rose Bowl.
I think that's the scenario the guy you replied to was envisioning.

Arizona won't qualify for a BCS game if they lose again.
They won't be in the top fourteen in that scenario, and won't be eligible to be picked for a BCS at-large (exactly like Sparty last season).
That said, they do control their own destiny. It might be unlikely, but if they win out they go to the Rose as champions.

Go staee! Beat Nebraska!
I hate ohio. Thats all you need to know.
lotta empty seats and nebraska fans in east lansing. Chipotle must be busy
Time to put my Sparty helm on. BEAT NEBRASKA!

It looks like a Nebraska home game.
M'Dog
So much red in EL. Is there another Cedarfest I don't know about?
Jesus, I thought Sparty Stadium was supposed to be the toughest place to play? They lose a few games and the fans desert them!

That is all.

Indiana beat Iowa, just so when Michigan struggles with Iowa I can sit there and bitch about it.
Hail to Pitt, hoping for yet another victory over the Irish.

Sparty, this is why you are little brother.

I also love the Christmas-out game they have going. Really cleve to have all the MSU fans wear red and green
Lose please.
...confidence is the stain they can't wipe off...
I'm rooting for State today (obviously), but lol at them getting called out by the announcers for being a weak ass fanbase
says Will Hagerup
3 and out, and then a shanked punt for Nebraska to start. Great start for MSU.
Tennessee - Troy gets the LOL of the early games, tied up at 48 2:54 left in the 4th
I'm going to treat you all the same. Like dogs. - Bo
you aren't serious are you? Wow. Dooley is gonna get shitcanned.

It might negatively effect their national recruiting?
Saying that it might effect STAEE's intergalactic recruiting would give Dantonio all the more incentive to throw the game.

Meanwhile, the first offensive drive for Illinois started in the customary fashion - Scheelhaase was sacked. After an exchange of unimpressive, brief attempts at drives for both the Illini and the Buckeyes, we're back to Beckmanball.

The Notre Dame Pittsburgh game is the classic Notre Dame letdown game. A 500 team comes in and knocks off the undefeated Irish. I'm calling it here first you can call me a genius later. If I'm wrong It's because I drank too much during the Michigan game
In Hoke we trust...
GO STAEE
Feels dirty to say, but is what it is I guess.
Call Mr. Plow, that's my name, that name again is Mr. Plow
Was it in Michigan too? Looks like alot of people dressed up like empty seats in East Lansing!
Been a rough week....thanks again Michigan! Go Blue!
always play each other close. I agree Pitt is definitely overmatched this season, but recent history would imply a very close game with Pitt playing well above their talent level. From the last four years:
ND @ Pitt, 15-12 ND
Pitt @ ND, 23-17 ND
ND @ Pitt, 27-22 Pitt
Pitt @ ND, 36-33 Pitt (4 OT)
Also, beating #3 ND and losing to UConn on Friday is a very Pitt Football thing to do, so I wouldn't be terribly surprised by anything.

Martinez with a terrilbe INT. Where was he throwing it?
Scheelhaase has underthrown almost everything on this last drive, partially due to the offensive line getting zero push. Indeed, the turf has three catches for about 40 yards just on that last drive, on its way to a monster game at WR.

Illinois up 3-0 on Ohio!
"Ohio is like a giant turd that Michigan just can't pinch off"
but gosh darn is MSU's offense sad. I feel hopefully that they can win when the D is out and then the offense comes out and does nothing. This is painful to watch
YEAH MSU interception.... yeah... I'm finding this pretty damn hard to root for MSU. But I keep telling myself that after they win today (please), UM will be looking real good at being B1G Champs and going to the Rose Bowl. That would be another hugh step for this program and I would be SO HAPPY for our seniors, especially Denard and Kovacs who deserve this.
Am I jumping the gun a little? OK, yes.
Back to (sort-of) rooting for MSU.
Streaming UM games early Sunday morning from Korea, since 2007
Love watching 5 star LB Lawrence Thomas playing FB.
This is saying a lot, but I think Bell is the most overrated Spartan.
MIzzou down by 7 to Florida, but driving with under 1 minute left on ESPN2
