Why? Because they're beating 0-3 B1G Purdue? I mean I know Herbie picked them to win it and all but..
They're doing just as well against Purdue as we did.
They're not as good as us, but they're cutting teeth on a new "QB of the future" who might actually be legit and next week has serious trap game potential.

So Hill can catch but the rest of AZ's WRs not so much.
Don't call it a comback...Seriously, it's not a comeback. It's actually pretty embarrassing.
This Florida-Georgia game isn't any better.
Ummm, excuse me, it's talent and speed and it's entertaining. I hope (/s) wasn't needed but it's there in case.
And I believe that is Aaron Murray's 3rd pick in the 2nd quarter...

31-7 Minnesota over Purdue with 5 minutes to go in the half. I think Danny Hope might want to start brushing up his resume.....
The boiler fans (all 500 of them) can probably live with getting beat by Michigan and Wisconsin but after last weeks gag job agains OSU getting curb stomped by the fucking Golden Gophers might be too much to take.
Dude is putting on a show.
"The Ruhr will not be subjected to a single bomb. If an enemy bomber reaches the Ruhr, my name is not Hermann Göring: you can call me Urban Meyer!"
That's kharmic justice for Purdue after the way they shamelessly Schottenheimered that game away against Ohio Staee
Former Buckeye Antonio Pittman on being a poster child for compliance: "This osu tattoo stuff is silly. Cats been getting hookups on tatts since back in '01."
Browns fan here who just spit up his tequila after reading the word "shottenheimered".....
I wish i had more than one up vote to give you sir....
Did we ever think Danny Hope was actually good? I don't remember ever being impressed by him, but perhaps I was living in California and never noticed.
Hard to overstate how big this win is for Minnesota if the result holds. A good performance by their new QB, good defense, lots of scoring... suddenly, bowl eligibility looks achievable. And they're going to smell upset next week, which I don't want to see at all. Confidence makes for a strong underdog.

Purdue has stopped playing. UM has not. Minnesota can play with all the confidence in the world, but confidence won't make up for their lack of speed and experience.
Minnesota might make a play or two offensively, but I don't see how they can even begin to slow down Denard and the Boys.

I hope not. I'm extra-paranoid because I'll be attending my first Michigan game since 1/1/07, and it will be my daughter's first Michigan game ever. I'd like it to be good, and by good I mean a blowout without pumped up Minnesota fans that a six-year-old girl won't be prepared to get heckled by.

How are Florida and Georgia ranked so high? They're just terrible. Wish I could say either team was elite anywhere, but they're both trying to derp away this game in all phases.
How many times have you been on the freeway and had someone fly by you at 100 mph then end up 2 cars ahead of you at the off ramp? What's the point? -Mark Harmon
This #4 Buckner guy for Zona is terrible. RR might go Kelly on him at some point today.
To be fair, Purdue never even bothered to show up here. Even Michigan's receivers would be hand-wavingly wide open against a secondary playing like this. They're not even bothering to try here.
Minnesota might add another score before halftime.

Stave is done. Gholston broke his collarbone.
Don't miss RR's frustration antics any either.
34-7 Minnesota over Purdue at halftime.
What an embarrassment for Purdue. Lots of momentum for Minnie.

Remember. This is Minnesota playing Purdue. A bad team's win over another bad team doesn't really mean anything.

It means something to Purdue (which now has to find a new coach) and Minnesota, which I live in. And to some extent to the B1G, which would be better if teams like Purdue and Minnesota weren't such embarrassments.
Wow. Marquise Lee. Another incredible catch.

Gholston has just doubled his sack total this year to, well, two.
Joel Stave injured his non-throwing arm, it seems, on that play too. O'Brien coming in.

34-7 gophers. This is beyond awesome. I feel bad for Kill and everything he's been through personally so for him to be able to beat the shit out of the over-hyped and under-coached Boilermakers makes me smile.
Does anybody else feel like all the games on now are just killing time till 8:00pm?
He is a senior though, need to have better game sense than that. Have to throw that away. No reason to take a sack.
He's a junior I believe. He graduates from MD in three years.
Well Stave going out might have helped MSU if they weren't down by the impossibe to overcome 4 points.
Rugters right now 21-10
We hate Michigan State. We don't like Penn State too. We don't care for Minnesota, Wisconsin or Notre Dame but we all hate O-S-U.
Michigan Blue 2008 block M hockey jersey still for sale for 50.00. FREE S/H
Stave was clearly crying walking into the locker room. I sense a .gif in our future.
A crying because of injury .gif seems in poor taste, no?
I don't think so. I'm not laughing at the injury. I'm laughing at him pretending to brush the hair from his face while actually wiping the tears from his eyes instead. I think that is funny.
Irrelevant. Guy's season might be over, laughing at him is classless; we're better than that.
Servant. Pastor. Husband. Michigan fan in Duluth.
You obviously don't get the joke. We are laughing because a freshman may have just had a season ending injury and was upset or hurt, it doesn't matter because he was crying. Get it? He was crying so it is funny.
Oh wait, that isn't funny. The OP was just being a huge prick.
and in a complete shocker...Sparty fans are laughing at Stave being hurt. Never thought much of that fanbase...but that seems even low for them.

Yea absolutely. Just saying I don't know that the play was exactly the same as what we saw Denard ran but concept was there -I think- ; saying it was to the slot was kind of redundant on my part.
