Weird call by Zook.  You go up 20-13 and rather than kick the extra point to make it 21-13, he goes for two points.  Of course he doesn't get it, so it's a 7-point game.

I know no one here cares, but Pitt's QB just tried the Denard QB Oh noes, except he passed it after he ran 5 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Air Force is going to score a few points, but Notre Dame might put up 50 today. That comeback keeps looking better each week--even if they turned the ball over 5 times (only four actually happened before the last kickoff).

Seriously, ND is probably going to win 10 games and put up a fight in a BCS bowl. They're really athletic and really big for the first time in almost 20 years.

Looks like Wake is going to  beat FSU.  Yay!  Always happy to see a Florida team lose.

EDIT:  Hmmm, looks like all three of the FL biggies will lose.

Does Florida play the same D as M? Danielson just said, "in this defense you don't want to run around blocks. You want to take on the block and then make the tackle". I see Craig Roh doing this from DE in M's D this year, specifically when he steamrolled Ronnie Hillman in the SDSU game.

LSU's punter just ran 60 yards on a fake into the endzone...and it was called back for a taunting penalty.  First time I saw that.

Edit:  I don't have an issue with that rule.  I don't expect perfect sportsmanship all the time, but when you go out of your way to taunt the other team, you don't deserve the points.  There's no need to have that in the game.

The trouble with it is that it gets called for such ticky tacky things.  This was not mean-spirited and it was not egregious.  The NCAA seems to expect it's football players to be emotionless and mechanical, which is unrealistic when you've got a bunch of 18-22 year olds guys running around.

I don't expect players to be robots, but when your player is looking directly at opposing players and showing off, how is it not mean-spirited?

If you are in the endzone, celebrate with your teammates.  All he had to do was wait a few more steps and get there.  I don't think that's asking for too much.

Stupid, stupid rule.  I hate how touchdowns can be called back now from celebrations.  LSU just ran it on Florida and gets it called back.

So, was that fake punt called, or a read by the punter?  It looked like he was getting ready to punt, saw a wide open field, and took off.

EDIT:  Type way too slow :(

That new celebration rule is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.  One gesture and no points?  Laaame.

Although taking it is also dumb.

They should make fan taunting against the rules. They do much, much worse than anyone does on the field.

Personally, I'd have thought it was dumb if they took 15 yards away from LSU on the extra point for that. Weak sauce.

I can't believe we get this craptastic slate of games now while Michigan, OSU-Nebraska and of course the Tigers are all on at the same time.

Talk about not spreading the wealth.

In your hypothetical, sure.  Also, if it was game 11 or 12, and we knew we needed to help M , again ok.  But can't bring myself to cheer for them now, without any indication that we need OSU to beat Nebraska.  I'd rather we just beat them straight up.
