A last look at 2009 (every snap videos)
Some of you may be familiar with my videos that showed every snap of each QB from the spring game. Same thing here with arguably the best performance of the offense and defense last season.
(if the video is blocked by the sidebar double-click it to watch it on youtube)
Expect to see a lot more consistency each this year! And more wins!!!
26 Days!!!!!!!!
I will have to block this from my mind until I have time to review both at lunch. But I know already I love it, so my compliments sir
Cannot wait to see how the DL performed against a very solid OSU middle
The video of the defense gives me a lot of hope. Take away the turnovers and we would have been in this game to the end. I cant wait until the season starts (Jumping in his chair from excitement)...
Offense was never the same after Tate hurt his shoulder. Also would have been much better, IMO, had B. Minor been healthy the whole year... Sigh... Oh well.
Also +1 for these vids.
Thanks for taking the time to cut these up and share them. +1 for that.
(also, I bet a dollar this isn't the last look at 2009)
I agree. That's why I called it A last look, not The last look.
touché.
+1 for the videos! Great job.
I agree that this was probably one of the offense's better performances, however I DID NOT remember getting stuffed three times on the goal line (Illinois lite). My heart broke knowing what was to come later in the season. I know this is a definite, but wow did Denard look shifty.
Defensively, the line looked good getting off the ball and I can't recall to many running plays where the line was pushed 3 or 4 yards back. I did notice a general squeeze by the d-line and thought this might be why alot of plays were bounced outside (Indiana long touchdown, Juice Williams, MSU OT win, Pryor successful zone option). And one final note is Kevin Leach's walk-on performance. I really hope for improved LB play, as he was pushed all over the field that day...oh, and J.T. Floyd looked confident covering his deep half when Warren was on the short side of the field
God I'm going to miss Charlie Weis.

Watching Mike Martin bring Pryor down about 1:25 into the second video and how pumped he was got me from 6 to midnight.

Anybody else imagine the hilarity if TP was Terrell Owens' QB?

Thanks! Watching that game with just the D isn't nearly as depressing as including the O.

I love the commenter that claims you edited the OSU defensive video to make UM look good.

The vids look great. It's great to see that although the Offense played well against ND, there was/is a lot of room for improvement.
I do it here only to spare my fiance'
- DL gets good push all day, not outmanned
- 2:34 - M. Leach gap responsibility
- 3:02 - W. Campbell GREAT play
- Good lord, Roh is undersized; but fights like he isn't. Going to be great
- 3:16 - W. Campbell turns GERG's hair a shade whiter
- 6:45 - nightmarish loss of contain on consecutive plays by 2 different playas
- Zone read option is a deadly play when executed. RR invented this?
- Tressel is a good O playcaller. Someone's going to have to outcoach him
- 8:25 - Craig! Smash your eyebrows into his chest!!
- 9:58 - S. Brown blindsided. Contain again waves bye-bye on another big play
Mised assignments hurt more than personnel. This is a good OL at OSU, and TP can run very well. 3rd qtr yardage was tough, but when you give up the ball 5 times, a good team is going to make you pay. They weren't unbeatable last year, and they won't be this
