Last 5 minutes of UTL I is on BTN.
Face Palm Guy!
Time for a corresponding replay of the liveblog:
Ugh. This loss is completely on Mattison. He should be fired.
Someone really should go and check on Don Criqui if they can find a moment on Saturday. Undoubtedly, he has sat there now for the past two years waiting for some sort of signal.
It was like if he didn't say it, it wasn't a TD. Too funny.
Michael Floyd, such a Punch Me Face.
every time I watch this over again, the one thing that becomes increasingly clear is how terrible Brent Musberger is.
This was one of the greatest games in CFB history and Herbie and Muss called it like a noon MAC game. No enthusiasm.
Yeah, it's like they turned the sound down on the crowd on purpose.
After the throwback screen to Vincent Smith for the go ahead touchdown, Musberger said, "That's a play the work on in practice." Wow, Brent! You think?
I watched the full game last night. LOVED IT AGAIN.
Our RG had a really nice - and very sly - serious hold and the Denard scrable throw to Gallon to set up the TD.
Don't mind at all.
Thankfull no blocking in the back was called on the Gallon catch. Every time I see the replay, I brace myself for it to be called.
Give credit where due - excellent no-call by the ref on the Roundtree block. If they had called that it would have gone down as one of the most disastrous calls we've ever seen. it had no bearing on the play.
Wide open's Gallon! They left him alooonnee!
Needs a block...
Forget it man. Eight seconds left? We're screwed, dude.
Was marveling at how good #90 for us was.
Whatever happened to that kid?
HE LOST 43 NUMBERS THEN BECAME THIS BEAST.
The ND radio feed of the last thirty seconds, plus their postgame show, is just about my favorite thing ever.
Highly recommended listening, especially if you like listening to guys who want to be anywhere but doing their jobs at that exact moment.
That was awesome to listen to!
When Gallon catches the pass, Criqui is in disbelief. It's something like 'Gallon wide open catches the pass", silence, 'He's going to score' silence, "ND forces him out at the 8". Most announcers would be something like 'He's at the 50, the 35, the 30..." but Criqui is in stunned silence. Then on the TD pass, Criqui initially says it's incomplete!!!
They're showing a replay of the CMU game now.
I was in the NCRB when they were playing this and as I walked by the dumbbell room literally EVERYONE was staring transfixed at the screen, weights forgotten. I was like, "Yeah, it'll do that to ya."
