The last 24 hours...

Submitted by Above and Beyond on
Well, folks. We are down to the last 24 hours until Mr. Harbaugh leads our beloved team onto the field for the first official time as our head coach. So, how are you coping? What are your feelings about this now that it is so close? Delete if desired and neg away if this thread is too cliché. I'm just curious how others are feeling now that we are so close. I, for one, am really nervous, but also the most excited I have been for a football season in the longest time. EDIT: I am really hoping our fans invade that stadium a la OSU fans do for EVERY road game.

I am actually working on this very thing, although the consequences are that I will be not only unproductive because of the game tomorrow but unproductive due to lack of sleep and inability to comprehend the need to be conscious. I suppose the two scheduled meetings for tomorrow would have to serve as "sleep" in that scenario.

If you're drinking and staying up all night, you should livetweet it or use the email chain to document it...for science, of course.

It won't last me all night but I did pick up a single Grapefruit Shandy. Pretty interested to see how the grapefruit works in something not jammed with hops.

My day tomorrow:

Leave Bozeman MT at 4 AM.  Drive to Craig, MT to guide a fly fishing float trip.  Take boat out at 4 pm.  Drive like a banshee back to Bozeman so I can watch the game and drink my face off at my local sports bar.  9pm girlfriend drives my drunk (and hopefully happy) ass home.

I just told my girlfriend 24 hours as she's making she dinner. She looks at me and says "I hope you get this excited for a potential wedding day" I've just dug a hole.

I just told GF that she's not going with me to watch the game tomorrow.  The only game she has ever seen with me was Shane's bowl game start, at LoDo's in Denver, which might have been the most depressing M game that I've ever seen.  I'm not going take a chance and let her bad karma or anything else negatively influence the result tomorrow night.

Also probbly decreases the chances of any wedding anytime soon.   : )

I'm going to live my life like any other night. Then go to work tomorrow just like normal. But once I'm out of work, let the nerves and excitement kick in!

This doesn't really answer your question, and I don't mean to thread jack, but is Brian doing away with previews this year? I was looking forward to seeing what I would cackle with knowing glee about if we win tomorrow night.

Meetings all day tomorrow. Won't be able to concentrate. This is a very bittersweet time of year for a teacher...

Once that's over, I have to finish up a season of NCAA 14.  Then sleep.  Hopefully.

After work tomorrow, I'll have enough to keep me busy until 8PM, like buying beer, eating dinner and driving over to a friend's house to watch the game.  I hope he has something good to talk about because I'll be ready to eat some raw meat and punch someone by then.

I wanted a roster with Gardner and Peppers.  The first time I played a dynasty I sucked with the read option and Peppers wasn't on the game yet.  I wanted one more try with Devin and of course four years of Pep.

It's funny how I was able to figure out the offense Gardner would flourish in while Hoke kept going round peg/square hole.

I want Harbaugh and the team to do well but am worried for what the future holds if it doesn't work. Also I want a time machine so I can see what happens. One more thing: what the hell happened to the Tigers? What a hot mess they are...
