Laquon Treadwell to Visit First Week of April

Submitted by hart20 on

What the title says. Laquon Treadwell is going to make visit out to Michigan for another visit.

Even though Treadwell already has visited Ann Arbor four times, he will make his fifth visit during the first week in April to see a spring practice.

It's good to get him back for another visit, although I don't think he'll commit on this visit. . But if Ty Isaac commits around then,  who knows what will happen? Maybe Treadwell will catch the commitment bug. Isaac has been rumored to be wanting to end his recruitment soon and personally, I think he just really wants to visit USC. Barring Isaac getting blown away on that visit, I think he comes back  and commits within a couple of weeks. Disclaimer, I have no inside information and no inside sources. I'm not THE PARTY ROOM. Just late night/early morning speculation. Both of those players would be absolutely beastly additions to this already amazing recruiting class.

I can't imagine how difficult these type of decisions are for these young men. I have a hard time deciding where I'm going to eat lunch sometimes. Obviously M is top tier on all levels, but when it comes to Coach Hoke, is there a more honest, strait forward, trust worthy coach out there? I don't think there is, and I think this is resonating with the players and especially their parents. I can't wait for his 4th and 5th classes to be upper classmen! Laquon, come on down.

As much as the kid likes Michigan, I don't think he's going to commit this early. Clearly by his twitter, he LOVES the attention he's getting through this entire process. I can see him drawing it out for a bit longer. JMHO.

If he isn't 100 percent sure, I'd rather see it drag out and take the chance of losing him than have him commit now just to lock up a spot.  I trust the coaches to pursue quality players, so we'll get quality commits no matter who they are in the end.

That's a valid point of course. But from checking out his twitter, he seems to love posting about all the letters he's getting and every offer that comes his way. And he also loves the shout outs from all the people from different schools that have offered him. That just makes it seem like he loves the attention and everything that's coming with the process. Granted, I'd be just as excited if I were him. Not a knock against him or anything, just an observation. I don't know any behind the scenes information.

TomVH is very clear he doesn't want his stuff posted on other sites.  I don't mess with TomVH.  Good man.

about the the whole "first week of April" part, but almost every other site is reporting him visiting for the Spring Game. Either way he's coming back to campus in early April, and it's not really news theft, IMO.

Most kids get blown away when they visit USC so keep your balls crossed and hope he wants to play closer to home.

I hope he chooses M but if not, there will always be somebody else to fill the void, maybe Foster. If we get Foster we will be very fortunate. Then there's always Quick. I think we will do just fine at WR. I'm a lot more concerned about the DT position.
