Sam just said Michigan has offered Lance Dixon from West Bloomfield as a VIPER. This is huge, kid is going to be elite. Desribed as a 6'3" freak ("can run", "long")
MSU was first to offer, but as Sam said having coach Bellomy at WB helps.
Sam also does not believe Don Brown is going to MSST, thank god

Brown leaving actually a thing? Why would he go to MSST instead of staying at Michigan? Would they have offered him that much MORE money to go? In listening to his interviews, it always seemed to me like Michigan was the last stop for him.

MSST threw his name out as a HC candidate, but it looks like they have settled on Joe Moorhead from PSU. I don't think Brown added his name to any list - I don't think he has interest in being a head coach.

I agree, doubtful he has HC asperations. Also he has everything he wants/needs, other than the National Championship, but that is in escrow.

Mississippi State hired Joe Moorhead to be their Head Coach. There are rumors on Mississippi State boards that he plans to bring in Don Brown as his DC. The connection appears to be that Moorhead and Brown previously coached together at UCONN.
