"This is really important to be here," Lewan said. "I'm here to give back and help out my teammate."
LA Kings GM calls Michigan "the worst", Jack Johnson pissed.
You were right.
You obviously post here.
Ever read the front page content?
this was a follow-up that actually gets commentary from johnson. it's new content.
Hey it's not like he didn't add content to make it his own.
They have alot of cred. Come in last for nearly a decade, pile up tons of early first round draft picks, then start winning and you are a genius? Red has to change over his lineup ever four years, recruiting top notch players to come here. The Kings theory on success is suck real bad for a long time and eventually you will be good. Screw them!
Oops didnt see that. All my computer showed was the Unverified Voracity, until I restarted it after you guys said look at the front page. My bad.
So you're saying the content magically appeared after you restarted your computer? It magically appeared for me when I hit the down button.
What I'm saying is that where that post was a big white spot, as were a couple others, and when I restarted my computer it showed up.
Brian didn't have the Jack Johnson response. That was a pretty interesting read to me at least. Glad to see he backed up the program.
I agree -- Blueisgood might have missed the front page but this added some value for me as well by seeing the Johnson response. Thanks OP.
you dont mess with JMFJ
I couldn't say it any better than Johnson: "For my general manager to rip me as a person and criticize me as a person and as a player and call me an awful hockey player is irresponsible and unprofessional."
Lombardi's comments crossed way over the constructive criticism line. Most people I talk to think he's just bitter at Red for the comments he made about Trevor Lewis. Turns out Red was right. Lombardi just buried the kid in the minors and couldn't care less whether he had a college degree to fall back on or not.
Bottomline for me is that Lombardi would have never opened his cakehole if Michigan was having it's typical dominant season. He picked an opportunity to kick Red (and the program) while they were down.
Lombardi is no Ken Holland, and I can't picture Ken making comments even close to that.
...Michigan envy to me. His comments are shallow and bitter.
Personally I hope their GM keeps shooting his mouth off. Maybe it'll help Jack get himself on a better team (Red Wings anyone? I can dream, can't I?).
so I hear you got a problem with that Johnson fellow... how about we arrange a swap of talent in a equitable fashion. I'll send you Niklas Kronwall AND Ville Leino and you can send me that underacheiving Johnson."
No way you give up Kronwall for Johnson. Kronwall is a top 2 d-man. I'm not saying Johnson can't be, but he's not there yet.
There's absolutely no way you can give up Kronwall for JMFJ.
It's like trading Ovie for Malkin. Sure, Malkin is talented, but Ovie brings much more to the table.
I know Kronwall is good, but I still think the ceiling is much much higher for Johnson than Kronwall (I see Scott Stevens in Johnson much more than I see Lidstrom in Kronwall). Plus, Kronwall's injury history just scares me. I think Johnson playing in a more disciplined system with a hell of a good set of defensive mentors is capable of breaking through ceilings of potential, whereas I think we're seeing the best of what Kronwall can be today. Which is still pretty damn good mind you. Add to that the possibility you may be able to get Johnson now supremely motivated, and I think it's a win, although I do see your point and respect your opinion of Kronwall.
