Kyshoen Jarrett to Va Tech

Nice get RT @Lions247: Former Pitt commit Kyshoen Jarrett (East Stroudsburg, Pa.) has switched his commitment to Virginia Tech."

Another former Pitt recruit signs up with another team.  First Kline, now Jarrett.  I know Tom  mentioned that Jarrett had contacted Michigan following the coaching change at Pitt.  But I guess when we are going through similar uncertainty, it would make sense that we would fail to take advantage of the Pitt situation.

That being said -- with Countess and possibly Taylor committing, Jarrett is less of a loss than it would have been maybe 2 weeks ago.

I would really like to see Michigan get in contact with Pitt commit 4 star DT Marquise Wright. He's looking around, just visited Maryland, and would be a good get. I'm trying to get in contact with him to see if there's been any communication, or if there's any interest.

True fact. The Stache had some potent elixir. I could never find out why he couldn't be a powerhouse in at least the Big East. I would like to see RR get in Western PA. Does he maybe have some contacts since coming from West Virginia? Are there any pipeline schools in Western PA? Woodland Hills (Breaston)? We need to get in there before the geriatrics of State College do.

I believe Penn Hills and Gateway are solid, but that's deep in Pitt/PSU territory.

Wannstedt was a bad gameday coach. Other than WVU in '07, there were big letdowns every year with a roster that could win every time. Not getting a great QB probably cost him his job this year, though the rest of his recruiting was very good, especially for a BIg East Team.

Jeff Hafley was a top recruiter for Wanny who mined NJ talent. Immediately after Wanny was fired Schiano swept in and wisely hired Hafley to help keep the kids in Jersey. Except for an occasional kid going to UM I'd like to see that happen.

Update from my comment above: Marquise Wright told me he has had no contact with Michigan, and he thinks it's too late in the process now for them to get involved.
