I know that Ricky Rubio was drafted by Minnesota in 2009 but stayed and played for Barcelona for two more seasons and only this year is he coming over to play for the Wolves. I'm guessing you draft his rights for 3-4 years or so, and then they relapse maybe?

He wasn't going to make the team anyway. This way, he can get some pro expereince and if he shows needed improvement then we own him, but if not, then its no big deal and it didnt cost the team any money

I had an argument with a co-worker last year about all the great moves the pistons were going to make, all the great trades.  I tried to explain that the pistons dont have any players of value to trade, and the meager talent that does exist there is so tragically overpaid as to be impossible to move.  He wasn't ready to hear it, and I'm still waiting on these fantastic trades...

WIth the amnesty clause in the new CBA, both of those players, as well as Jason Maxiell and RIp Hamilton, could be cut at no cost to the salary cap (the guaranteed portions of the contract would still be doled out, but the salary would no longer count against the books).

It all depends on Rodney Stuckey.  If he's more of a full-time SG with the acquisition of PG Brandon Knight then one of Gordon or Hamilton HAS to go.

If Tayshaun Prince doesn't re-sign with the Pistons, this could be a silly move for Singler if he likes playing SF and he would like playing in the NBA, as the competition at SF would be the weakest of all positions.

Austin Daye is hardly a complete product at SF and wouldn't start for many-if any at all-other teams in the league.  Jonas Jerebko is coming off an achilles injury and has allegedly bulked up to the point that he could be an exclusive post player.

I guess this thread is OT, but I can't stand the people that come in to an otherwise obvious NBA/Pistons thread to put down the league or the team.

Good, that's the ugliest piece of shit that has ever played for Duke. He should have never been drafted, and he looks like a goat. I promise, the Pistons are better without him this year.
