Has he mentioned Michigan before his USC decision? Would be nice. He is very athletic and tall!

I would say our chances are still slim though. I think he was deciding between USC, Notre Dame and Florida with us and Illinois on the outside looking in.

You figure Carroll is leaving early enough in January that the kids have time to find new schools if they want, but for kids like Prater who were planning on enrolling early, well that kinda sucks. He can't get a phone call answered from the coaches, and he's expecting to move across the country to LA in two days? That's fairly shitty for him.
I guess at USC most of those early enrollees aren't really expecting to challenge for playing time as true freshmen anyway, but if you were in a situation like Tate last year where early enrollment was a strategic part of your decision to go to a school, well that would be as bad as a coach leaving two days before signing day.

The broadcasters of the AA game just said that they talked to USC commit Robert Woods and he said the coaching change probably wont change his commitment

recruiting class isn't very big right now to begin with. The next few weeks will really show who was committed to USC and who was committed to Carroll.

May this cold snap end before anyone considering last minute visits from the South/Southwest.
