Kyle Kalis talks to annarbor.com about his recruiting experience
“The basic reaction (to my commitment) in Ohio has been, ‘Ah, how could you do this to your home state?! You betrayed your home state!!'” texted Kalis, whom Scout ranks the country’s sixth-best offensive tackle and the top overall player in Ohio. “It just makes me laugh because I’ve only been here for 2 1/2 years.
“About 95 percent of everyone has accepted (my decision). And of course my family is OK because they’re happy if I’m happy.”
Beaten to the punch, and by a better post.
Ah, you were writing it while shoe was posting it.
...Grasshopper:
Master Shoe: Quickly as you can, create your MGoBoard thread.
[Young aawolverine tries to do so and fails]
Master Shoe: When you can take the thread from my hand, it will be time for you to post.
skunk bear: Master Shoe, when can take the reply from my hand....
...that I cannot do. However, I can lock your post to immortalize its typographical error. Remember, to suppress a truth is to give it force beyond endurance.
Typically, I proofread my posts and edit as necessary.
I'm thinking that if you are to tease a fellow MGoBlogger it is a poor time to abandon such a practice.
Perhaps, posterity shall be spared my linguistic incompetence by this thread ultimately being deleted.
insolence Master Shoe, but only when Kwai Chang aawolverine, lifts the burning cauldron with his forearms... will he be truly ready.
...on your part, only a misguided attempt at understanding the true test of one who aspires to post MGoBoard threads.
Like all who aspire to be Master of the MGoBoard Thread, aawolverine's final test is actually the urn of the two symbols, the dragon and the tiger. When he can walk in this corridor, the path to the outer world, and can push the urn aside with his forearms, he will bear its markings for the rest of his life. He may ask how, if the urn contains hundreds of pounds of burning coal and iron, he with only the strength and weaknesses of a man, can accomplish such a thing.
The answer is that It is because he is a man that he can do this. Just as the softest clay, in time, becomes the hardest brick. A fragile leaf - a diamond. As a stream of fiery ore freezes into unbending iron. So too may a man ascend to himself. He accomplishes this by slowly forging the Chi within himself. The bond between the finite and the infinite. The inner essence of his spirit and the limitless power of the universe.
When this is done, he will have found his strength and the source of his survival. He will be free – free to again post MGoBoard threads.
Sheesh! I hope you survived David Carradine's recent mishap.
Well, I'm glad he moved to Ohio from wherever and is coming to Michigan for college then the other way around!
